- Here's an F1 onboard lap at the Brno Circuit, also known Masaryk circuit or Masarykring, in Brno, Czech Republic. This is an updated video from the same lap I did in 2020, in better quality. The FIA Grade 2 circuit is 5.403 km long (3.357 mi) and consists of 14 turns. It has previously hosted numerous Moto GP Grand Prix.
This Formula 1 hotlap is driven in Assetto Corsa with Max Verstappen using the RSS Formula Hybrid 2023 with F1 2023 Red Bull RB19 livery.

This track is awesome man.... It's a bit like Mugello, with the elevation changes, the fast corners meaning you never go below third gear, and some seriously good corners, at that.
I wish this track hosts F1 one day. With FIA Grade 2 certification it could host F2 tho
It's good to drive on, but bad to race on. It has a more extreme version of Australia's problem of too short straights, so unlike Mugello, it wouldn't make for good racing. P.S. It gives me more Turkey vibes, of course with the tiny Austria in sector 2
Currently it's at a grade 2 state. Maybe renovate some corners and it's F1 time. I'd love the championship to come here

Seems like a great circuit, sharpening off some corners would make this track great.
I was driving this track in Project Cars 2 last month or so. I have to say what a fun track this is to drive on. This could even be a test track since it has got many different types of corners. This track really taught me a lot about Project Cars 2 with the Formula A car since I don’t usually play the game.
As Czech citizen i wanna have F1 races there.
I hope Brno replaces Hungaroring on the calendar soon.

Only change I would make to this circuit is tighten up the corner at 0:19 as to maybe promote some switchbacks coming off from the straight

As underrated cities to visit go Brno for me is at the top of the pile it is an amazing city!
This looks like a perfect motorbike track with the winding medium-speed bends between short bursts of straight (and I hear it hosted some great MotoGP events) but the same qualities would be mediocre for F1 - no long straights and no heavy braking for slow corners equals no overtaking, or even close following. It's like a circuit made entirely of cut-up pieces of the first sector at Suzuka - a great challenge for an individual driver and for qualifying, but a poor prospect for a race.

There is no more funding that's why moto gp is not racing there anymore. The surface need re surfacing ( I'm from czech republic)

I would love to see more tracks in f1 but I already think that there’s too many races each year. Certain tracks should swap in and out each year like Monza/Imola/Mugello
For me, this is the best place to have never hosted an F1 race and it's criminal that it still hasn't.
Just curious, but why did you time the lap starting at the overhead banner instead of the start-finish line?

Whay happened at the Turn 3?
This was the perfect circuit for 2014-2021 Formula One. You could have 5 DRS zones. The circuit had been neglected for years though, it desperately needed resurfacing but they refused so MotoGP don't race there anymore.
None of the straights are long enough to get a significant tow, even with DRS
We need more races in -Eastern Europe- the old communist block/on the other side of the old iron curtain
