can't wait to get back on Splendor again in May, I probably would have visited Station Pier to see her, but we were still in Sydney after getting off Splendor on October 31st, and came back to Melbourne November 11th

Oh my goodness I want to see that pier! How lovely does it look? What an amazing sight to see all 3 shops in dock! Why does the carnival splendor look different in that dock then Sydney? Or am I just weird 😂 Oh my goodness they were 2 of my favourite dancers!! I’m ridiculously jealous right now 😅😂. Great video!! Very envious x
It was sooooo good to see all 3 ships there. I felt so happy in that moment, seeing my favourite ships in my home port for a change and even Mother Nature was happy to see them. Hahaha, I think it’s just cos you’re looking at the aft. BTW, don’t worry, I have started on my Splendor vlogs! Those two were Tyree and Shante, the others we ran into were Campbell, Alice & Lottie. Was honestly such an incredible day. I’m so glad I went.

I don’t hate Port Melbourne. It’s cute & the views are nice, not overly industrial like some or over commercial Ike others. Sydney Harbour is beautiful, there’s no denying, but Port Melbourne has a quaint charm that I hope they don’t lose when they do eventually upgrade.
Oh, & I think Princess Cruises was pretty close by around then too. My dad & step mum are currently circumnavigating australia on a Princess cruise. They made it to Albany on Thursday after Melbourne cup so they couldn’t have been far away from Melbourne on Tuesday.
Port Melbourne is a beautiful area but could definitely be better. They need to have more long term parking available and the terminal it’s self needs upgrading. The thing is, the buildings and pier are heritage listed so it won’t lose its charm thankfully but I guess that also makes it harder to do their works.
Good luck with ur adventure trip We had 10 nite cruise to barrier reef on the adventure June 23 was great Then we did same cruise last August September was very disappointed food standard not the same Some morning they stop serving fried eggs at the pantry we been told go to waterfront restaurant Also they charge 25 dollars for Antipasto at the Italian restaurant use to be free In all didn't like food in general I used speciality restaurant truly amazing but costly average 150 dollars per couple am now leaning towards princess once I finish my upcoming 4 cruises with P&O
Im a bit worried that they might cancel the feb cruise as its so close to the change over. We have had to book flights for the 3 of us from Launceston and have booked at the meriton suites world tower for 3 nights pre cruise

7 times last 2 years needs few litres of paints and couple rollers need lots of works and to be re designed

We will have to get a tram from the cbd next wk to the ship. It works out cheaper and better than getting a taxi or a uber and pretty convenient 💕
