@@Jennifer-fj4wf I think a lot of studs (not all) subconsciously subscribe to heteronormative roles to the point that they feel uncomfortable dating women who actually like women, even if that woman is femme. In their mind, dating straight-identified women affirms their masculinity and their "role" in a relationship. Also, like some of them said, they like the chase, and some of them like the idea of "turning a girl out," it's an ego boost for them. They can't achieve that same feeling with femme lesbians because we already like women, so that means that they'll actually have to contribute something meaningful to the relationship.
