- New Guitar Pedals out from Warm Audio! Centavo (A Klon Centaur clone) and the Warm Drive (A Zen drive Dumble clone). In this review, I'll shootout the Warm Drive with the Zen Drive, and I'll compare the Centavo to both of those.

These pedals were provided to me by Warm Audio. The opinions here are my own.
I was impressed with these pedals. The warmdrive sounds basically identical to the zen drive but I think just a little bit better. If it's more reliable than my zen drive, then it's an incredible bargain for the price.
The Centavo is a whole different beast. It has a midrangey thing going on, and it kind of reminds me of a Top Boost pedal. There's these noticeable overtones that happen when you dig in. This pedal helps you cut through the mix and it has a lot of juice.

I think these pedals are a really great bargain. And that's what this channel is all about. Making good music on a budget. The Centavo and Warm Drive definitely fall into that category. If you're into these sounds I don't think you can go wrong with these two.

I liked the Warm Drive. The Centavo didn't seem to have as much character to it, although I gather it is designed to be transparent for the most part.

Just sold my Tumnus Deluxe to fund a WarmDrive...comes tomorrow. Thanks for vid...looks like I got a winner...my son's ZenDrive impressed me...but I'm too cheap...got B-Stock at $116 shipped.
It’s not about being cheap but common sense.
It’s very similar to the Zen in almost every way .
I wonder how it compares with the Ceriatone Centura.

I did Jewel awhile back! Well.. I didn't DO her .. I remastered a song that she wanted to do for a charity that she just played in her room on a webcam and I re-mastered the audio and sent it back ... I believe the project charity was called "call to unite" that she was raising funds for! That woman is amazing! Who doesn't love Jewel? c'mon!

I remember liking your channel cause you would seek out good budget gear . And you and that cool old dude would make things out of what's laying around . Do you watch , Jim Lill ? His last amp video was amazing . I want to see the DIY movement . The cost of everything is too high . It's greed plain and simple . I want to build my own amp/cab . That would be so liberating ! So much so I'd take my bra off HAHA jk

Same here. And building your own stuff is extremely satisfying, (but also extremely frustrating when it goes wrong ;) ) It really puts gear prices in perspective. The biggest cost for building your own things is time really.
