This was the collaboration that I’ve wanted for so long. Both of my favourite combat training RUclipsrs. Thank you once again Phil Daru for the best quality.
I’m 43 and probably will never box anyone. However, I love to hit the bag to stay fit. This video brings it to another level. Thanks ! It is nice to workout with a purpose.
Don't underestimate yourself. I'm 52 years old and can stand toe-to-toe with a 27 year old competitive fighter for three rounds. Having a solid grasp on the fundamentals and hard work is all it takes
Brent Williford you can always spar with someone. You learn so much with sparring. I am 45 and still sparring with people half my age. I have more endurance than them (i run ultramarathons as well 😉).
I've been commenting on this boxing coaches channel for years about he needs to leave the strength & conditioning training to the strength coaches. It is good to finally hear it from his own mouth. THANKS DARU!
Phil and Jason collaboration, doesn't get any better than this. Jason sent me to your channel, Phil, and I immediately subscribed, liked, and rang the bell.
what a team, indeed I also follow precision striking, I was surprised to see him at first I thought I had clicked on the wrong video, pretty cool collaboration, this just keep getting better and better
Fantastic to see both technique and strength/conditioning together as you have to work both continually. As a new USA Boxing coach, I would love to see an example of a training plan for competitive fighters with less than 15 fights. I strive to equip our fighters with the technique and ability to succeed and the two of you have been a massive step in that direction.
What a great treat! Triple V is the one that made me take boxing seriously , and to make it even better , the viking man makes a great addition to a great exposition! Thanks a lot to both of you!
Didn't trained for more than 1 year but went on saturday to the gym and outboxed the guys just with my jab. And that was just possible through those vids. Great work just continue osu.
Coach Phil Daru, so stoked you did a collaboration with Jason from precision striking. You guys are at the top of the game. Thanks so much and please keep it coming. 😄
Man I have been following you now for a couple of years. I learned a lot and taught my daughter many of your combinations. You most definitely have the best youtube boxing video, keep up with the great videos and sharing boxing knowledge, and by the way crazy mike tat on your shoulder
Awesome stuff! I would really like to see more of those, like footwork with cross / uppercuts / hooks. Or maybe training for defensive / evasion move like slips / bob & weave.
I seldom say good things about people online but this guy from channel precision striking is the best coach I've ever seen in youtube history. Not only because he knows the rope but also because he can explain the stuff well. He's a natural.
Love the info in this video... been just going through the motions with the bag.. finally have different options I can train with just the jab! Thank you Phil & Jason!
Good flavor on the mixing it up. Understanding how to improve it with the drills. Hook up with another RUclips boxing instructor, Coach Anthony, for a video. That'd be dope!
Great stuff from both of you- can you show more ways to practice this without the weights? more ladder drills and more agility jumps etc? (with fakes!)
I like that guys like you are collaborating to put out good vids like this. Phil I'm a trainer & have afew training questions, what's the best way to reach out?
I'm a nerd, pedagogue, philosopher and publicist. Aaaand, apparently I love to do boxing in a recreational way while treating it very intellectually with all of that physics of human body details. It's really hard not to admit that JT van V has one of the most well-thought training advices. Just look what the man's telling us to do when we jab - keep your core straight, move the whole weight of the body with small forward step while producing a sharp, snappy jab. With that, you're actually concentrating the power behind your mass right on your fist and releasing it on the opponent. That's just using laws of physics to your advantage. On the other hand, Jason's saying that we shouldn't bend forward with the core. Why's that? Cause it's gonna shift your weight to the front giving you less mass-supported acceleration and in result less power. What's more interesting is that Jason as a trainer is making fantastic pedagogic approach toward his students. Afraid of getting hit? Chill, give yourself time, start from slow sparring, accustom yourself to the stuff. Well, anyway, I guess man's a great teacher.
im a respect ya shit by being as real with you as I can I been following Jason for a hot minute im feeling you both to me these kinda collaborations is hot content on steroids
Hey Phil this your new subscriber here you are making great content. can you plz make a video on how to strengthen the shoulder after an injury & plz also tell us about Hill Sach lesion and how to recover from it.
Hallo Phil. What would be better? To Train in a circle where you do one exercise after one exercise and Always just one set and then repeat for 3 to 4 times. Or is it better to do 3-4 sets of an exercise and then another exercise. What would be better?

U will box someone one day brother, even for a round. We all have that "itch" that we want to scratch no matter what.
Brent Williford you can always spar with someone. You learn so much with sparring. I am 45 and still sparring with people half my age. I have more endurance than them (i run ultramarathons as well 😉).
I’m 32 and I’m fighting against all odds for one amateur fight. Don’t give up man if it’s something you want to do.

Good video for correlation of skills and the exercises to help promote that skill
Fantastic to see both technique and strength/conditioning together as you have to work both continually.
