My uncle sang in one of the commercials for sprintcar racing early 90's I believe: "Sprintcar racing.. take it to the top, sprint car racing.. the action never stops".
@@Paris_Charles Im trying my hardest to find it on youtube. it was for the racing here in Adelaide. there was a female backup singer in the song belting out very powerful backing vocals. the clip would be 30secs to maybe a minute and a bit..
@@scottmark5345 I heard it! I've heard it!! Definitely, and on RUclips, but ya' know, I'm certain that it was on a commercial from Claremont Speedway in Perth. It was a good old, hard rockin" tune. Yep, I've definitely heard it.
@Paris_Charles By bloody Crikey, I wish I could have been there. Have a look at some of those beautiful beasts. I think that the Sprintcar reached its apotheosis of design features in the years between 1978-1988. That, for my money, would have to be when the most "pleasing" ascetics were produced, like the Stanton's, Trossels, Gamblers, Felsch, all those beautiful old (now) Sprintcars. But I go back further than that, to a time when all "Sprintcar Racing" was in Australia was "Modified Sprintcar Association" it was right there in the name, these things were actually often built by the bloke that raced them.
@@frenzalrhomb6919 I snagged it as a video and converted it to mp3 ill give it to my Uncle next time I see him. He was a singer in the 70, 80s, 90s and had lot of connections in the day - DJ's (hes still friends with a well known one here in SA who comes to our family functions every now and again). He was friends with Bon Scott back in the day hes from that generation- friends and toured with the top Aussie singers and bands.
