Does it come with the ambient lighting like previous models? Also are there anything's that the base 2023 had that the base 2024 doesn't?
Yes it has ambient lighting with about 10 color choices

What is the name of this color?
Any idea whats going on with the 18 week delay for new build orders? Was told it had to do with the Ezecutive package and the hand control option. Online you cant even choose the executive package option anymore. Its been 4 weeks and I still have not received a production number.
I just ordered mine and they’re back to 5-6 weeks. I believe the previous delay was due to the chip shortage
Now, only if the X6 came with the phev as well! I don't understand why it wouldn't. It's shape is more conducive for the EV aspect of it.

2024 BMW X6 xDrive 40i M Sport Package!
We ordered ours a few weeks ago. I no longer believe they are laser lights, just LEDs. Take care.
My last BMW had laser lights, but hard to activate at night.
How does this compare to the MDX Type S? Much more fun to drive? Faster?

The X6 is definitely Faster but the new RX has a pretty cool interior.. idk how reliable the new rx will be with that new turbo 4 cylender so honestly go with whichever you can get a better price on.

What option that you recommend.
Hey Justin! If you’re serious about the x6, I’d recommend this 40i trim. If you need the V8 you’re better off going with the X5 for its lower price and added practicality. BUT, based off your other comment. If you’re really looking to maximize your dollar and stick with BMW, I’d really recommend either an M2 or a Z4 M40! 👍🏼

Get the X5 if you have kids. More room back seat and trunk. I have the X6 and the car slopes down so you get less cargo space for stacking things on Costco runs.
Fisheye suchs. It totally destroys proportions.
Great Job.. Really shows this car has guts. Don't really need the m60 unless you want to roar.
BMW is definitely the sportier, quicker large SUV.
The Cayenne is super smooth but boring in style, heavier feeling.
So many white Cayanne's.
BMW has a better transmission response than MB.
MB tech is more silly redundant confusing.
Still the driving machine.
