Gus, I watch all of your videos. I do not boat. I get stupid sea sick. I just feel the need to tell you life is short brother. Live it to the fullest as you appear to be. My wife's grandmother died of complications related to Cron's disease and my oldest daughter has it as well. The way you live is inspirational to all people that suffer from a debilitating illness. Your positive personality is addictive and gives hope to everyone you come in touch with. I am 55 August 16 2024 and will never get to live a life as free as yours. Live it for my daughter who suffers daily, and for others who wish they could. I would send you money to help endure life's expenses, but you do not have a `join` option. Keep living. We are all here for the adventure.
Yeah!! I love the adventures of Gus and Bella, Ethan and Frosty. Two lovely, positive, practical guys. So happy to see Gus made a speedy and full recovery. Some clever person from TV should really offer Gus a TV show - these videos, his natural charm, charisma and energy are fabulous and are far better than any of the many travel/ boating/ canal documentaries I watch on CNN, BBC et al.

I’m a typical RUclipsr (limited to usually 15 minutes max) but your content has me viewing for hours at a time. Being a native South Floridian and having made the Miami to NYC driving trip dozens of times -and usually as far off the beaten path, hugging the coast as much as possible- this upload is particularly enjoyable. It’s doubtful I’ll ever make my fantasy “Great Loop” trip, but I can live vicariously through your escapades. Your tenacity and focus, your knowledge of the mechanical aspects are quite remarkable. Thanks for the time you invest in sharing your experiences.

Love the smile on you guys. Great experience for you later when you have kids. I watched you going to Miami too. Hard to imagine regular people making such a journey--they must have two boats or a crew that takes the boat both ways. Both 100% likeable guys.
That's why he owns them lol He can buy them, service them, flip them and scale up his operation ie the new boat he just boat. which in that video he talked about selling this boat for $137k. I respect the hustle, but even though he shows you a lot, you're probably really only seeing about 30% of the actual work he's doing. Highly intelligent and also requires a major work ethic with a smart business mind.

Hi Gus, San Francisco, California hear. I’m sitting on my lazy boy couch going on a boat ride. How awesome is that ? Frosty had a shift cable break. I remember that happened to me one time. Not fun. With me, I had to be towed in because the cable was located in my outdrive. Boat had to be lifted out of the water, outdrive removed, and cable replaced. I’m not mechanical so I had my mechanic take care of it. Welcome to boat ownership

It's always great to pull for the 'good guys' and you guys definitely qualify. It was also great to have the family connection. I think a lot of us gents wish, ahem, we could have seen more time with your sisters. They're sweethearts and they are quite 'photogenic' (want to remain respectful!). 😏 Ethan/Frosty - I get you bud. I had an 80s 45'. Man, that thing would do everything but sink. Had her for 10 years though and she looked very good. She got am Imron (similar, but forgot the brand) paint job which made all the difference. Second week I had her, the port engine threw a rod! Yes, she tested me from the start! But the hull and topsides were very sound and that's what mattered most to me. Stick with her and she'll reward her, or if you decide she's not the one, you let her go. Right? Point is, you gained a ton of knowledge, and had an epic and long vacation. Don't disappear on us bud! Cheers from deep in the heart of Texas!

I used to live in Melbourne, been through the Canaveral lock. Years later I flew some folks to Beaufort nc to meet up with a 60’sailboat we staid on. I owned a beach house on the outer banks. My friends live in Norfolk. Oh and I used to stay in New York City on a tug boat beneath the World Trade Center. Boated all over Long Island. And I now have a house on the Chesapeake bay. Man you brought back a lot of memories my friend. I got to get out there. Ready for more adventures.

I like that Josh is a serious man, he understands the dangers of the water I can tell. I thought it was awesome he decided to make the trip and Gus extended the offer. And like a smart man hit the store and loaded up on good eats. I'm surprised they don't do a little bit of fishing though I don't know the laws/legalities of it or if they eat seafood personally. But that seems like it would add a lot to the experience. What a blast. Also the guy running the frosty lol no clue cuz I'm new to the channel but sounds like he knows a lot but little real experience, his sister almost seems more in tune to me, maybe it's just his boat or maybe it's the way he keeps his boat up but it seems like he runs into a lot of issues. If I was gus I'd be thinking about sticking close by at all times in the open waters.

I like that Josh is a serious man, he understands the dangers of the water I can tell. I thought it was awesome he decided to make the trip and Gus extended the offer. And like a smart man hit the store and loaded up on good eats. I'm surprised they don't do a little bit of fishing though I don't know the laws/legalities of it or if they eat seafood personally. But that seems like it would add a lot to the experience. What a blast. Also the guy running the frosty lol no clue cuz I'm new to the channel but sounds like he knows a lot but little real experience, his sister almost seems more in tune to me, maybe it's just his boat or maybe it's the way he keeps his boat up but it seems like he runs into a lot of issues. If I was gus I'd be thinking about sticking close by at all times in the open waters.
