He claims that he can help us to cure all our sorrows ,negativity, karma etc by teaching us meditation technique named as prana viruthi and atma yoga.He also claims that if we do prana viruthi our body functions at its full potential and get more healthier and better .. I'm wondering why his eyesight (he is wearing specs) not get cured by his own techniques...

God sent all of us. Tirelessly offering us chance reborn again and again ( based on karma & core desire ).
This man is Self/God realized, the realization that the body&mind and its effects are illusion but the formless, unfelt Soul/Self/Atman IS THE TRUE YOU.
Your memories will destroy the moment you die. Only your karma and your core (unknown) desire you take and go to reborn once again.
Once karma is burned up and desire is fulfilled and importantly remember who you really are while you're alive, once life ends - you will become one with God/sit with God.
