As a new practitioner of Tai chi Quan, and as a new student on Taoism, this video was able to cover many of the questions I had. It's simple explained (translated) and it was easy enough for me to grasp a glimpse of the Tai chi philosophy. I Don't mind the little flaws in technicalities others talk. Thanks for posting.

I think this is a great video as good as it can get. An authentic former priest from wudang mountain talks with honesty. A lady whose fluent in Chinese language and understand the culture as well as Taoist knowledge. I do appreciate very much. thank you.

Very well presented and informative,an insight into Tai Chi as part of a deeper understanding of Taoist practices. The flow of the movements in combination with meditation only serves to align the mind and body to be as one with the Dao

The Chinese have just found something fantastic in Taichi Quan. It is the true basic practice to all combat or non combat arts. The baduan Qin and ba gua all have their roots in Taichi... As described in here tne "internal quan" and "outer quan" have all been refined to very high skills... The excellent side of taichi is that it is accessible to all...to keep fit and healthy for life...No need for life insurance or health insurance that are so costly....lol

This (supposed Wudang tai chi stuff) is not True Tai Chi! It's all modern chinese ego and propaganda at their best! And I'm not talking of just forms but about inner essence. Just look to the man and his energy! As I think there is an Academic environment, I suggest to study the ancients Tai Chi Classics from the before communist era written in classical chinese, not modern one!

It is true! Chen family Taijiquan is the original not Wudang.

Wrong! There are different theories about that.......Wudang and chen family are just two of those

Who are the best authentic tai chi chuan teachers in the united states? It would be good to know as a point of reference. Also, are there any famous tai chi chuan teachers in the united states that do not actually practice authentic tai chi chuan? Please help =)

The translator ends up telling people what she understands of taoism because the taoist "master" does not "sync" with her...

The master does not even wait until the translator has finished translating...this not so professionnal...IT needs improvement, because the topic is huge and extremely interesting for most viewers who seek and want more info...Thanks and good luck..

This Chinese taoist practioner can not explain clearly enouth and speaks way too fast and his demo is equally too fast..The poor translator has a hard time following...This is common with Chinese speakers who have no experience with a public encounter.. It is an advantage to have this in video we can rewind to "review" again and again....It is worth to have this redone, if you could....?? An excellent video by a Chen taichi master Zhu Tiancai, in Chinese with English subtitles....
