Did you know about this guitar?
(yes, I forgot to mention that Black Magic Woman is originally by Peter Green)

Just a tip, with the Abraxas album, Santana is playing around in the middle pick up position. He is using a tube screamer straight to an Fender amp and plays around the bridge pick up volume (still on the middle position) probably more like 9 or 8 depends on how much sustain he wants. On a track "Black Magic Woman" you will notice once he started to play that solo he raise that volume.

i HAD A GOLD TOP DELUX TO Man IT WAS EXPENSIVE but that was my go to guitar at the time and it became part of me what can I say Ive had a lot of guitars over the years Ive never had a mosrite but they have the twang similar to a les paul Junior the pickips P90's I think. too many good guitars. I played a a fender lead II sounded more like a gibson had two humbucking looking pickups. Now I have A Squire strat copy with two single coils and a double I love that thing it was very cheap but it has a soul of its own n Ill never sell it. And A beat up squire strat copy I like that sound to.
