The RUclips channel Sideways has a really good video that's (sort of) about this song - I'd recommend it. (Also, this version is really fun to listen to - good job!)
It should be String sextet in d minor for Tchaikovsky, Symphony in G minor for Mozart, Fantasie-impromotu for Chopin, la campanella for Liszt, Prelude no. 2 for Mendelssohn and Hungarian dance no. 5 for Brahms for their final boos theme, in my opinion.
@@-rf7tj I meant 25 and I also thought about confutatis or dies irae. I actually think it's really hard to pick one for mozart. And no. 1 for Mendelssohn is also a really good choice.
U should see Erlkonig - Schubert - Podium Witteman. In that video, the roles are devided through different people. The son is played by a kid, there is a narrator, the father is played by someone else and so is the Erlkonig.
I love this, this is such an amazing thing to experience the Erlkönig in 8 bit. It makes me wanting to make it so every time someone calls me I can hear it. May I use this as my ringtone?
Not really, this is my favourite piece actually. The sound is pretty good considering the melody line is a bit weird, especially thw high notes in the beginning
I am so happy this exists because there's something about this song that just gives Boss Battle energy
Should have put
"Game over: Child died"
In the ending lol. Beautiful arrangement. I searched "Der Erlkönig remix" and didnt expect to find this
Dang, that would have been good
or a oregon trail version (son has died of SED(sudden erlkonig disease))
I’m imagining the story playing out as a scrolling game. Love this!
*THE ERLKING HAS APPEARED*

Pretty sure Sideways will like this as he is a fan of video game music.
This is lit! It should be a final boss theme of some game about composers (especially Schubert)!
Thank you!
12/10 would play! (And make my German students play too ;) )

WOW 8-bit! Within the tremendous limits of that almost lost art, you have brought the piece alive, Thank You!
I came to this video after wondering if it existed
Not to diss Schubert, but I think the register changes between the lower voices and the Son adds a little something to the original
The og has the register change too

This is great! What did you use to compose/ transcribe it?
I used beepbox.co to make the music but I transcribed it from looking at the score
Does anyone else feels high just from listening? it left me a little bit dizzy ( I'm using headphones)
