I didn't even think of how chocolate is shooting up in his rear. That just makes it all 10x more horrific and grotesque.
Fun fact about the chocolate pipe scene: The river wasn’t that deep and the part Augustus Gloop fell into was a very small hole. If the actor had fallen in the wrong way, he would’ve broken his neck or at the very least get very hurt.
I once dived headfirst into a 3feet deep pool, half my height. You shouldn’t get hurt badly water stops you, you should be able to change your direction before touching the floor, i only gave myself a nosebleed
Can't believe I've never seen these guys do all this until today, this is my second video and I'm definitely watching more tonight. Great channel great work ethic and mix of good old fashioned fun. Really enjoyed it 🙏🏻🏴
"But at the end, they show that they're all okay" Actually, they don't, that's only in the Depp version. In the original, all the kids save for Charlie really could have died.
Oh yeah we just never see them again. When you think about it, what about Charlie, his grandpa, and Wonka in the end? The elevator has no visible means of landing safely, or am I just forgetting something?
In the novel they do state that the 4 other kids go home, but are each disfigured by their accidents. But they do get their lifetime supply of chocolate. Then they ride the elevator to charlie's house to pick up his family. In the sequel, 'Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator', the elevator breaks down when they're going back to the factory with charlie's family and it launches them in to space and they fight aliens. Then wonka turns 2 of charlie's other grandparents in to babies and kills the 3rd.
@@KinoGeno I'd imagine, I heard that in one adaptation the kids straight up died. The little privileged girl got ripped apart by the squirrels, Violet straight up exploded, and I don't remember what happened to Augustis and Mike.
The ragdoll animation would have made more sense if there were broken rotten eggs everywhere, considering she fell where the rotten eggs were supposed to.
@@DavidWildmouth Watching this I was thinking exactly that reference too. Not s SPECK of light is showing.... So the DANNNNGER must be......... GROWING.... (You just...have to hear it. It's off Portrait of an American Family, I don't do it justice here I promise.)
Wait a minute, Veruca's Dad also jumps in after his daughter falls into the chute. Why didn't you create a second one for the Dad? That would've been hilarious! Missed opportunity for an extra body on the count.
The "direction/editing" and added murder scene at the beginning are my favorite parts, Charlie walking alone with the random inter cuts of stuff is genuinely terrifying. The deaths were all great (Veruca and the Buckets looked especially good), but the transitions, sound and music, the cuts to Wonka looking like a mad man and random bits of dialogue that fit perfectly that tie it all together is genius.
The best shots have got to be the opening. Not to gore heavy and it keeps alot from the original, but wow is it genuinely fantastic. If the shots shots were done in a bit more of a minimalist way I think it would've overall been alot better
@@alejoqc9540 Honestly I think both are great, the style and visuals of the factory of the Johnny Depp one is a lot better but I personally prefer the original Willy Wonka actor instead of Johnny Depp's version
The funniest part about that IMO is the fact that the scene cuts before they reveal what the flute is used for. In the movie it's used to call the boat, but in this version it just looks like Willy plays it for no reason.
I heard 3 guys that are like that, one is a security guard that they say slaughters about him, and one loves everything and he convinces children to get petrified into an action figure like him, and one guy that sells chocolates that poisons children
In the remake, there's squirrels shelling walnuts. They tap on the shell and decide whether the nut is good or not. When Veruca goes down to the squirrels and gets attacked, one of the squirrels taps on her forehead and decides she's a bad nut. Imagine a darker version where they decide she's a good "nut," so they shell her skull from her brain in a gruesome scene.
Or if we continue the bad nut route, we could see Veruca sliding down to the incinerator, and we can see the entire process of Veruca being burned alive. Also the father follows too so double the fun 😊
Nobody's gonna talk about how good the murder scene was?

it’s 4 fucking am, just found out how fucking creepy these movies are, and that heart lockets with music boxes is the next thing on my bucket list.
Yeah what with all the subtext and horrifying imagery occasionally popping up like the infamous tunnel scene.

Fun fact about the chocolate pipe scene:
The river wasn’t that deep and the part Augustus Gloop fell into was a very small hole. If the actor had fallen in the wrong way, he would’ve broken his neck or at the very least get very hurt.
Gosh dang-
Oof
And that's why cinema before was better)
Yup, breaking actors in half used to be a thing.
Good old times.
I once dived headfirst into a 3feet deep pool, half my height.
You shouldn’t get hurt badly water stops you, you should be able to change your direction before touching the floor, i only gave myself a nosebleed
What they did is add reality to the accidents with a hint of homicide

I've been following Ian Hubert's work since highschool. It's gratifying to see him and his work.
"But at the end, they show that they're all okay"
Actually, they don't, that's only in the Depp version. In the original, all the kids save for Charlie really could have died.
Oh yeah we just never see them again. When you think about it, what about Charlie, his grandpa, and Wonka in the end? The elevator has no visible means of landing safely, or am I just forgetting something?
toxic sammy isn't edgy Didn’t they fly in a glass elevator over the carpet and they watch the kids look upset and gloomy walk away with their parents?
In the novel they do state that the 4 other kids go home, but are each disfigured by their accidents. But they do get their lifetime supply of chocolate. Then they ride the elevator to charlie's house to pick up his family.
In the sequel, 'Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator', the elevator breaks down when they're going back to the factory with charlie's family and it launches them in to space and they fight aliens. Then wonka turns 2 of charlie's other grandparents in to babies and kills the 3rd.
@@zoeynightshade5550 I think so, honestly I've completely forgotten because I haven't watched Willy Wonka's Murder House since I was like, 10.
@@KinoGeno I'd imagine, I heard that in one adaptation the kids straight up died. The little privileged girl got ripped apart by the squirrels, Violet straight up exploded, and I don't remember what happened to Augustis and Mike.

You guys should have kept Willy's poem that he was quoting while in the river tunnel. That would have tied in everything perfectly
Especially if Marilyn Manson's voice was dubbed over his, taken from a song Manson did.
Something like

So the DANNNNGER must be......... GROWING....
(You just...have to hear it. It's off Portrait of an American Family, I don't do it justice here I promise.)
You don't even need to modify that tunnel scene to make it horrific and unsettling, the original version had that covered
This movie traumatized me as a kid. It's scarier than any horror movie lmao
it wasn’t even scary tf
I always thought Wonka was unstable anyway. LOL
@Jack the Husky that chicken! GORE!
Dead meat could kill count it
It’s a family friendly saw movie XD
Wait a minute, Veruca's Dad also jumps in after his daughter falls into the chute. Why didn't you create a second one for the Dad? That would've been hilarious! Missed opportunity for an extra body on the count.
Make John carpenters “the thing” into a g rated movie.
That would be amazing
Awesome
I mean, there is that Pingu version....
How the hell is that possible
@@uigoku671 The Thing is just a really socially akward guy with poor hygine who likes to hug people
The goddamn flute transitions make this just meme worthy enough to not be overly horror. Love it all
so true
that and their hysterical laughter
Clint: "I saw it for the first time last night."
Does he even watch movies unless it's for work? XD
I'm convinced that the only movie he watched out of his own free will was that movie where the fly killed the guy
I saw the remake whit Johnny Depp, but never the original. Pls don't kill me.
@@alejoqc9540 I'd say the original is pretty good except for the boat scene. The Johnny Depp version of the boat scene is 1000x better
Nope and we really need to stop expecting him to have seen anything at this point
@@alejoqc9540 Honestly I think both are great, the style and visuals of the factory of the Johnny Depp one is a lot better but I personally prefer the original Willy Wonka actor instead of Johnny Depp's version
15:30
Wonka playing his little flute thing makes it even funnier
i'm pretty sure it's to call the boat in the actual movie
The funniest part about that IMO is the fact that the scene cuts before they reveal what the flute is used for. In the movie it's used to call the boat, but in this version it just looks like Willy plays it for no reason.
No it makes it funny
Not funnier

That’s part of this channel’s beauty XD
I hate how they won't shut up lol could have been better
Gave ,e nightmares 😊
Same
especially caus it's like 10 yr old kids
In the remake, there's squirrels shelling walnuts. They tap on the shell and decide whether the nut is good or not. When Veruca goes down to the squirrels and gets attacked, one of the squirrels taps on her forehead and decides she's a bad nut.
Imagine a darker version where they decide she's a good "nut," so they shell her skull from her brain in a gruesome scene.
OhHOHO I LOVE THIS
Its not a remake. Its a whole redo, called Charlie and the Chocolate factory. And both are absolutely amazing.
During the production of that part, they quite literally trained squirrels to open nuts.
Or if we continue the bad nut route, we could see Veruca sliding down to the incinerator, and we can see the entire process of Veruca being burned alive. Also the father follows too so double the fun 😊
is it psychotic that I actually want to see that happen?
Willy Wonka has such casual reactions to these hjorrifying deaths its hillarious and the final result was a work of art
