Kadene Bennett - I downloaded portable Google chrome on my pendrive, and connected it to my phone. You need the search key to get to any search engine. Even you can try getting it on a pendrive and connecting it to your phone.
I had same problem with no "text shortcuts" fix it like this (if this can help other people): After you hit on Keyboard settings, choose "predictive text" and the last option is "add shortcuts"... hope it helps!

use talk back. Push two fingers on screen, then access talkback menu, and from there you can access web browser

Is there anyway I can bypass without going into "Text Shortcuts" ? That option is grayed out on my phone.

U only need to manage open the web browser,try using links
turn on predictive text in setting and u will unlock the text shortcuts

I just did this on my old S5 Neo and it worked fine. Only thing I'm slightly worried about is whether or not those .APK files are clean or not.

Seems good so far I went through the all the steps it worked on my phone. Once I got in I made sure to DELETE the two files I downloaded.
