- Video showing a Google Account Lock successfully being bypassed on a Galaxy Note 5, when the OTG method does not work. Google includes this security feature with all phones on Android 5.1 and up so that when a device is reset without first removing the Google account, the device is locked to the previous owner's account. This bypass process can be done to virtually any Samsung device by allowing the user to bypass the screen that asks for the Google account of the previous user.

Every Samsung device has Download mode, so it always works as long as none of the buttons are defective. But... simply putting it in Download mode doesn't actually do anything. It's all about what you do to it while it's in that mode.

Simply putting it into that mode doesn't do anything. And anyways, if you have an S5, then it's the Samsung account lock - not the Google account lock. So this video wouldn't apply to your situation anyways. Hello I currently have this exact type of phone the samsung galaxy note 5 i had bought from someone online and they didnt tell me about the google lock on it so i have been having an awful time trying to figure out some type of way to unlock it and be able to use it. How do you put it in an ALTERNATE DOWNLOAD MODE ?
I'm not sure what "alternate download mode" is. There is only one Download mode for Samsung devices
But you don’t show how to put it in the alternate download mode 🤔
Simply putting it into that mode doesn't do anything. It's all about what you do to the device while it is in that mode
Can you do that with a Motorola phone cuz I bought one pre-owned and it's telling me to put into it was factory reset and it's telling me to put in the previous owners pin number I don't know the previous owners pin number what do I do
Yes, we can remove the Google account lock for most Motorola devices :)
I have a samsung galaxy note 5 and I factory reset it and I put my WiFi password in and then it told me to accept the terms and conditions so I ticked both boxes and clicked agree but whenever I do that it takes me back to the welcome screen where it tells me to select my language I don't know what to do please help
Either there's something wrong with the phone, or you're not telling us about other screens that are showing up. A phone should never return you to the Welcome screen, after you agree to the terms and conditions

A misleading video title to plug your own business. Not cool and no I will not do business with you for that very reason.
"How to" is not anywhere in the title. Also, the fact that this is a business is disclosed in the first 5 seconds of the video. So if you ignored that, then we don't know what to tell ya.

I did a reset on my zte maven but to recover or erase google account, are there other different instructions besides the samsung or are they the same for such phone? I thought it would erase all but apparently the google name keeps showing up I had phoned at&t 7x but as you see they werent much help. thanks

Yes, this is an advertisement for our business. The problem with RUclips videos is that Samsung (and pretty much every other major manufacturer) has teams of employees whose sole job is to look through the internet for how-to videos and posts, make a note of how the trick/bypass works, and submit it to the software development team to be fixed in the very next update. That's why the how-to videos are full of comments saying "this didn't work for me" or "I don't have that option on my device". Our methods always work when others fail, because we don't show Samsung how we're doing it.
@@MNMobileGuy lol...thats a good idea. Actually I'm kinda pissed I checked off the box 3years ago to have that Google account on my phone. Now I'm pretty much screwed. Shame on me...
