Wow, you and I have basically had the exact same journey haha. First show was 98’ and have been to 32(or 33 lol) since(also 3 D&T and 1 DM and Friends)
This was just 2 years after 9/11 so daves respect for the city and thanking everyone is just the most incredible icing on this amazing cake. I have seen them 79 times live over 24 years and i have never once walked away from a show disappointed.
ugh,, no.. The Last Stop is really not great (their only 'not great' song in my opinion). ( btw i'm a lifelong fan that's seen them many times live.. and i simply cannot stand 'The Last Stop' 🤷)
I think they would like to react to Last Stop. It's a one of a kind song and Dave's vocals are insane. They always love the passionate energy songs @@OvercookedOctopusFeet
@@TheBrainStormKid Hard disagree, sorry😮💨 I hope they don't have to suffer 'The Last Stop', as it may be the song that ends their love for this great band. Please _don't_ push that song onto them- i _beg_ of you all 🙏
@amyspairana8612 You look it up. Hendrix used to line his bandana with hits of acid. Why do you think Dave spelled it JIMI? Google it. You'll find it. Or don't.
You guys are the best. I love all of your Dave reactions. This one had me laughing and smiling the whole time. If i could request a few Dave songs for you to check out. The stone Minarets Say goodbye
Your reaction to this song gave me chicken hair! Lol. Hilarious. Watching the joy this brought to you gives me such joy in return. Goosebumps are dead. Long live chicken hair!
now you can see why so many of us "Dave-Heads_ go to so many live shows....29 and counting for me.....over 30 years.....and cant wait until the next one....
Now that you've heard this song, you need to check out the version from Wrigley Field (9/18/10) where the crowd sings. It's crowd participation at its best!!
If I may, I'd like to suggest a song very outside the box I believe you'd like very much: True Reflections, from Listener Supported. That's a beautiful song where Boyd Tinsley is the lead singer.
You have to consider the amount of money the industry spent promoting safe, MOR music in the wake of Cracked Rear View. And a multiracial band performing that hokey whitebread BS was right up the fat guys with cigars' alley at the time. And while we have to acknowledge that he took that ball and ran with it with a serious work ethic and grassroots efforts, none of Dave Matthews' music has become part of the canon.
A bit of variety would be welcomed by many of us I'm sure? I love your channel but it seems its either Dave or Bruce every other day? When are you going to listen to some more Simon & Garfunkel, who I remember you loved, but that was six months ago at least, just an idea guys
I think it's best for content creators to go with the flows of what they are interested in or what makes them happy. You can never please everybody and shouldn't try. It's cool they discovered some music that they are passionate about! Don't worry, only 200 more DMB songs and then they'll be done. Or they can move on to Dave and Tim versions after that 😁
I've seen them 5 times over the past 10 years and have really enjoyed this band live.
I'm at about 35ish shows since 1998. I lost count sometime over thirty, but it's well over thirty.

Dave Matthews Band -The Last Stop(Live In Chicago '98)
ugh,, no.. The Last Stop is really not great (their only 'not great' song in my opinion). ( btw i'm a lifelong fan that's seen them many times live.. and i simply cannot stand 'The Last Stop' 🤷)
Gorge 8/8/03 from Central Park Companion Disc
@@michaeldixon6623 Yes, this is the best version. Chicago is good but this version is peak Last Stop from the 90’s and early 2000’s.

I'm glad you guys finally got to hear a song with "Dave Speak" in it. Jimi is Jimi Hendrix.
It’s definitely not Jimi Hendrix. “jimi thing” is slang look it up
@amyspairana8612 You look it up. Hendrix used to line his bandana with hits of acid. Why do you think Dave spelled it JIMI? Google it. You'll find it. Or don't.
It brings back memories of when things were better for everyone. One of the best concerts me and my sister ever went to.
yup - best - concert - ever!
Yes, I knew you were going to love this performance. Brilliant! Thank you for this reaction.
You guys are the best. I love all of your Dave reactions. This one had me laughing and smiling the whole time. If i could request a few Dave songs for you to check out.
The stone
Minarets
Say goodbye
I knew it!!! Was waiting for you to get to the ending part. Smiled the whole reaction. ❤❤❤
Keep it coming guys, you rock!
Dave is from South Africa guys
Thank you guys! What a joy to watch 😊
Your reaction to this song gave me chicken hair! Lol. Hilarious. Watching the joy this brought to you gives me such joy in return. Goosebumps are dead. Long live chicken hair!
Oh BTW JIMI THING is a metaphor for whatever it is to make you relax. Dont think its anything particular so just a silly thing lol
Agreed!
My favorite RUclips couple!!
It finally happened
I snuck it in even though it’s over 15 minutes. lol. They had to see it.
if you loved This you should Try Dave Matthews -Seek Up SPAC 01. That's God Tier DMB
yeah! Seek Up is wonderful⭐
@@MrOctober1 Rocks is great, so is Gorge. But Spac is where the money is at. It's some sort of religious experience
Seek up is either 1a or 1b on my list
Great you heard this, saw this, and reacted to this. Just great ⭐
Y’all found their best live tune in my opinion
Warren Haynes, long time guitarist with the Allman Brothers and Govt Mule. One of the greats. Great reaction guys! ☮🧡🎶
Very good . They all live in Charlottesville Virginia USA
Whoo hoo! Thx guys!!!! ❤
now you can see why so many of us "Dave-Heads_ go to so many live shows....29 and counting for me.....over 30 years.....and cant wait until the next one....
I'm pretty sure a "JImi Thing " is a reference to marijuana joints.
Jimi is also slang for a condom, so I think this song subtly refers to sex, drugs, and rock and roll.
This!
I’m so happy this one has made its way to you. Absolutely amazing! Love your reactions!!!
❤❤
Good song. Great vibe.
Typical Situation is their another amazing song
Another great one guys
Warren Haynes on guitar
It was just announced the DMB was headlining Boston Calling this summer… just saying, might be time to book some flights
I told you about the surprise at the end 😘😘😍😍😍😍
I sure hope you've been able to get out and see them. Obviously they are amazing live!
🔥🔥🔥
👍👍
Halloween, Rhyme and Reason, Christmas Song, The Song that Jane Likes, Funny the way it is... all live, always live.
Now that you've heard this song, you need to check out the version from Wrigley Field (9/18/10) where the crowd sings. It's crowd participation at its best!!
I was at that Wrigley concert. That was a great show until I found out it could have been bombed by a terrorist who got caught.
Lie in our graves!!!!
If I may, I'd like to suggest a song very outside the box I believe you'd like very much:
True Reflections, from Listener Supported.

I believe "Save Me" from Radio City Music Hall will be a fun reaction, for sure! 🤘🏻
always wondered about why they got popular - no disrespect or anything, just wondered. I tried listening to them and it was tame

Don’t listen to this guy. We can never get enough DMB
