  • Richard visits the County of Worcestershire to seek out tales of the supernatural and reports of ghostly apparitions and hauntings.
As these sites of unexplainable occurrences are revealed many people will not feel at ease alone in places of this County, which is reputedly one of the most haunted in the Midlands

I fall asleep to these videos. Not because they are boring, far from it, but Richards voice is so relaxing 😌

I visited Harvington Hall May of this year and although the 'official' line with the staff there was that it wasn't haunted, I definately felt something. There was a really icy cold spot just outside the gift shop, which was like standing in a field of static electricity. I was using a mobile app called 'Ghost tube' and got the name 'Peter' - I had no idea about the ghost of the Earl! Love these ghost stories and folklore 🙂

Hi Richard, just arrived at your video's which I find very interesting and 'objectively' produced, despite the early video technology and lack of backlighting sometimes which makes things so dark and difficult to see. Also, there are are quite a few mentions of photographs taken; did you not investigate these for inclusion? I also believe that it is very concievable that there may very well be something in the 'recorded'; physical energies of past events attaching to objects, buildings and places and so on, and being replayed to certain receptors, though I would be rather more fearful of the capabilities of the living these days...in more ways than one! But some fascinating stories for sure.

There used to be some freaky apparitions in the 7 Stars when I called in now and again. But that was just the regulars! I don't recall hearing it was haunted. A strange one is Witley Court, because everyone who knows it firmly agrees that it is haunted ,but I have Never found a story or met anyone who has actually Seen anything. .It just Is! not sure how it feels now English Heritage have sanitised it, but when it was a forgotten ruin known only to a few locals, bikers and hippies, (usually the same ones who frequented the 7 stars) it was just accepted that it was. An American artist was commissioned to paint it and he camped there. A journalist in a local newspaper article asked him if he thought it was haunted and he simply said. 'You've been there. What do You think?' It's just a presence. It's not threatening, but it isn't really benign either. you feel it could go either way, depending on you and where you are .A friend who used to camp out there told me she found the old servants basements /kitchen areas quite oppressive, like something did not want you down there. I believe that is where the fire started in 1937(?) Not sure if English Heritage have them open for public access. Not a place that drew me, especially as they were deemed unsafe. There was enough going on at ground level!
