If it's not too much to ask, PLEASE make a video on how you dialed in the Odin 2 and Ignite amp to get this tone. Truly amazing and inspirational song!!!!
Gareth Reed I plan to eventually get into tutorials as I’ve yet to come across videos that can make Odin sound real. I’d also like to show people how you can write full albums using nothing, but virtual instruments.
Gareth Reed also, thank you so much for the kind words! If you haven’t already please check out my other music on BandCamp, icarusbandofficial.BandCamp.com
Very nice work! I'm curious, just starting out with Odin. Did you have to make two separate tracks for the Guitars and manually pan them left and right?
Does this work for any DAW? I notice when I play it in Mixcraft daw, it sounds like a bass guitar or a lower octave piano. I am using keyboards to play. It doesn't sound anything like the demo. Any idea?
I'm just learning Reaper. Can't make Odin sound as tasty. :-( I can see that you listed some of the plugins below - could you be so kind to provide a few chains you're using and some default values to toy with? :-/
If you wants guitars that do slightly different things like different pitches or panning then yes, you would need to run two separate instances of Odin
@@Sunchaserofficial Maxime, author of Odin said that there's no need to use 2 instances if you want panned guitars and single track should be enough if panned guitars are selected. As for pitches - yeah, I realize that. Tho since then I learned a few tricks (thanks to Maxime and other musicians who shared plugins and tips on setting things up)
Jeff T It’s actually all I use! Check out my 3 albums that have nothing, but Odin, a sampled Dingwall bass, and GetGood Drums. Thank you so much by the way!
Is this really the odin? Do you plan on making any simple tutorials on how to dial in good tones because this sounds so realistic. Unlike when I try to program the odin lol.
This is the most insane thing ive ever heard! Wish this was around 10 years ago!
11/10

Make sure the octave drop switch isn’t enabled. A lot of my sound is coming from the Ignite Emissary amp simulator
Oh my godnesss... is shreddage 3 hydra better ?

Dumb question and possibly irrelevant, but is it possible to reamp to give it an a even more personal feel? Love it though
DRILL 2.0 Odin itself is a clean DI signal. I personally use Ignite’s Emissary for my tone
Awesome work man. Are you still using it? You should release an album of this stuff.
Jeff T It’s actually all I use! Check out my 3 albums that have nothing, but Odin, a sampled Dingwall bass, and GetGood Drums. Thank you so much by the way!
@@Sunchaserofficial do you still use it in your playthroughs? Well I use and I'm damn sure I can play it on my own if I have to
Praanesh Sitharthan yes, I still use it. It’s on all of my albums
This sounds great man! I wish I was able to get my chords to sound better with it. Do you use Alt Pick for those?
Yeah, alt pick and alt mute sound the most human. But thank you!
Are you randomizing the velocity? :) Feel free to send your midi to our FB page so we can have a look at what might be going wrong.
Did you ever use fortin amps ? I think it can be awesom with it
I've used the Fortin sim by Neural DSP and they're amazing!

TheCoronerProd I plan on releasing a ton of tutorials. But yes, completely Odin
What amp sim?

What DAW are you using?
