    100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) lukewarm milk
    100 ml (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp) lukewarm water
    pinch of salt
    1 egg white
    80ml oil
    2 tbsp sugar
    500 g (4 cups + 2 tbsp) flour
    jam
    powdered sugar
    For smearing:
    1 egg yolk
    1 tbsp milk

    Очень понравились весы , видимо антиквариат и деревянная лопаточка для муки. А ещё понравилось что нет суеты , плавные движения рук , и всё так просто и понятно . И не надо слов , только действие. Респект хозяюшке.

      Я думаю, что перевели "Gebäck" как "печение ". В итальянской версии рецепта употребляли слово "pasticceria".

    So lovely! I follow & love your recipes but do really wish you & other chefs would stop using plastic cling wrap🙏🏼 it's such an awful burden on our oceans & there are much better alternatives, cheesecloth to silicone, so please consider helping our future generations survive & replace plastic!🌊🙏🏼💗✌🏼

    I love the old fashioned or vintage touches you add , and the colors of the woods. It takes me back when your bakers were your grandmother, mother, aunt, older sister, and your neighbors sharing food and recipes. It seems people like you are bringing baking with natural ingredients back.

When people whose lifestyles were non-stop-hectic learned to stay home and slow down, many began a new relationship with hand-crafted foods. They've discovered and re-discovered the _'Joy Of Cooking’_ 👩‍🍳🍳🧄🍜🦞🍰
      Having spent many years experimenting with complicated recipes, I now enjoy the pleasure of simple recipes using basic ingredients. This lovely pastry is a perfect example. It’s all about learning a twist of the wrist, eh?
      (Forget about my ‘famous’ baklava because I’ve moved on. Even though I could eat it by the panful, I’ll spend no more long hours buttering and stacking a bazillion single sheets of phyllo with filling in between.)

    Beautiful, this reminds me of pastries that my mother made when I was young. I have a suggestion though. Some of your pastries were rising before you were finished forming the rest. This ended up giving you pastries of different sizes. Refrigerate the folded pastries until they are all folded, then give them another 15 minutes so that they are all the same temperature, then let them rise. 😎

      Perhaps the shaping was done slowly for the purpose of showing the method. In reality the shaping could be done much more quickly.

      Personnaly, I prefer doing pastries of different sizes to give the choice of a small, medium or big pastry depending of your appetite or your concern about consuming a little or a lot of calories. Thank you for this beautiful pastry. I will definitely try it soon, I'm dying to taste it.

      @@WolfeWrangle I think Bibi intends to not proportion them to the same size. I make various size biscuits, bialys, and cookies because in my family we all consider one portion a different size, lol. The only thing to consider with various portion sizes is they take different amounts of time to bake.

      И мне идея понравилась.Я только сделала бы по- другому: я бы соединила половину треугольников(то есть только четыре )из восьми вырезанных.Булочка будет, с моей точки зрения, меньше по величине и несомненно пышнее,так как содержит меньше слоёв теста.

I particularly liked that this was risen pastries without exhausting kneading.. I bet these pastries can be modified to many flavours. Yummy!     Super Rezept und eine schöne Art, das Gebäck zu formen. Ich habe die Marmelade allerdings erst nach dem Backen hineingefüllt. Dann sieht es optisch sauberer aus.

    Tip for anyone trying to recreate this using the american measuring system. Don't. 4 cups and 2 Tbsps is wayyy too much flour. So much my dough was extremely dry and could not fully incorporate into a ball. I had to throw it out and start over. Find and dust off those scales and take the extra time to measure the ingredients in grams and milliliters. You will have much better results.

    i love yeast pastry thingies, and there aren't a lot of ideas out there. not even in my grandma's old cooking books
    I wonder if I can put some kind of filling between the triangles at the begining of the shaping... I'll try and let you know

      The receipt looks like the one for the Danish cinnamon buns, but is a cheeper version. Give a try nexr time just it milk 3,5%, and hall egg and a good quality butter, not oil. If you also let the dough to rest and rise one night in the fridge, will be easier to work with on the next day and the result after baking will be nicer. I a2baking this type of doug at 205 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes.

    Das sieht ganz toll aus und ist ganz einfach. Ich versuche es ganz sicherlich. Ich würde es nach dem Abkühlen mit Tunkschokolade oder einer Zitronenglasur verzieren. Mit glg eure Angelika aus Österreich

      Такие весы использовались в сельских магазинах лет 40 назад и на рынках для взвешивания овощей, мяса, сыпучих продуктов.

    Я бы каждый листочек смазала сливочным маслом и посыпала бы сахаром с корицей было бы замечательно, сделаю обязательно спасибо за идею. Удачи вам и процветания.

    This dough was beautiful to work with but for my taste it was a little bland. I put icing on mine instead of the powdered sugar and they turned out great! Just a difference in taste buds. Thank you for the steps you did and the music was wonderful!

      I put some grated orange (organic ) peel. - of one orange. I also put two spoons of vanila extrait and orange jam ( the one that's not bitter ). Excellent !!

    i’m curious if i could use a cinnamon roll recipe using this shaping technique instead of just a roll. in between each triangle, a layer of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon is added and then filled in the center with more brown sugar and cinnamon. i’m a beginner baker so i’m not sure if it would work haha

      I think it is good idea. I made it today. It turns out great looking, but little bland taste. She was using only 2 TBS sugar & Jam + powdered sugar. I needed little more of sweet.

      Yes, of course you can also use dry yeast, 10 grams of dry yeast will be enough, liquids must always be lukewarm, never hot. Have a nice day and thank you for your kind comment

      Instant (Yeast - multiply Fresh quantity by 0.33, which comes to 6.6 gr. For Active yeast multiply quantity of Fresh Yeast by .04, which is 8 grams. Active yeast is very unstable, it could very well be dead, so make sure you proof it first and the temp of your liquid is between 105-110.
