    And so if you were to compare O1 - T5 instead of the original order, would the polarity reverse because it's a relative measurement? Is there a reason you had the comparison set the way you did?

    When you are looking at the bipolar montages, we see how T3 is more negative than T5 and that T5 is more negative than 01 in both examples.
    My question is, is in these examples why is it that there is a greater spike in potential difference between two electrodes the closer they are to the point of maximal negativity?
    Why is the difference between T3 and T5 not equal to the difference between T5 and O1?

    I have only mild headaches and no convulsions or loss of consciousness, but the EEG has been called abnormal due to a rare left temporal sharp transient with phase reversal at T3/T5, and they prescribed Keppra, on which I am so unhappy. The sharp waves don't stand out from the background in amplitude, and to me it looks like the normal ones you show. How can I find a neurologist that will re-read or re-perform the EEG and not over-read the EEG? I am in Charlotte, NC, if you know of someone. Thank you.
