Its extremely hard to figure out what makes this work. Can anyone explain to me what i do wrong when i do the same as in the video, but it doesnt work. Here are questions: - Can any other triangle foundation be connected to the 2 that are gapped? - Do I need to place the box before placing the two triangle foundations? - Does it matter which sides of the square you build out from (the 10 triangle foundations) - Does the roof triangle rotation matter? Two options on either side, in stone you can see the pattern differentiates. - Is it possible to have to boxes inside 2 triangles? I cant make this work even though they fit in there. - Can you build the pixelbunker higher up, like you can with the other two figurations? Cant make this work either unless i have the gap specifically on each floor and build it completely separate from the build. I have loads of experience with triangle+square and regular square+square pixel gaps, but this double triangle is really finnicky to work out:P Any help would be great help, thank you PS: I forgot to mention: I did do it successfully if i follow the EXACT block by block build as in the video, but I cant reliably do it in a build, which baffles me, and i cant figure out what im doing differently.
@@fredrikjohansen7771 Ill try and answer some of the questions, tho these are primarily guesses (i barely play rust cause of university) 1. Yes you can connect stuff to the ones that are gapped, tho since there is a gap it may kind of mess around with your build and make some things not peaceable and multi tc stuff may not work well (but it really depends on how you build and connect the rest of the best). Espeically with the 2 square one, if you have a straight wall, it can sometimes have a very small gap which gets bigger as you go out so be careful of that, but on corners it will get covered. 2. Yes you need to place the box first, you can maybe do it without placing the box first but it'll be really hard to place and I wouldn't try it, id just do it first so you can also place a codelock on it aswell (tho if you keylock it you can place the keylock after you do it) 3. I actually have no idea 4. Same as before I'm not sure 5. For the square, you can first 2 large boxs and 1 small box, the "2 triangle" and "square and triangle" ones I'm pretty sure you can only do 1 large one tho feel free to test 6. Probably? Never did it but id be surprised if it didn't work. Just make sure the roofs are connected to their respective sides ofc. To the PS stuff Yeah the 2 triangle one is very finicky and is quite hard to build since you have to build quite far out too, its more of a proof of concept just to mess around with. Ive also had issues where sometimes it just doesnt work? Like I'm not sure what i do wrong which makes me thing your idea of it being dependent on the side of the foundation matter.

to get a double triangle bunker working above foundation level I think you need to plan ahead and not build the walls under the bunker on a wall that has had a triangle attached to it. So you're gonna have to plan ahead with the base and build those walls higher first, and then expand around it. Maybe I'm wrong but thats the only way I got the 2x triangle bunker working consistently.

If you upgrade the foundations of a 2x1 to say hqm for example, it looks much different then if you were to upgrade a half wall that is sort of posing as a foundation (the brown wall vs the grey-ish foundation). So my question is how do i hide that from people? If i just built a hqm 2x1 how would i play that off as just being a regular one? XD
Well if you were to make a hq 2x1 I wouln't recommend leaving it just hq, you'd just need to cover in in honeycomb aswell which might make it less obvious (since stone looks similar). Not too sure what I would do tho 100% its more just a proof of concept I wanted to just try out and see what people can make with it. If the raider is smart enough anyway you cant really hide it since you can just check stability with a hammer and if it isn't 100% they'll know its like a pixel foundation.
Sadly yes you have to make the gap quite big to access it. If you want, if you don't have enough space, you can build out the triangles and build back, delete them and continue for the 5 times you have to do it. It's hard to explain sadly.

Assuming you made the foundations like this and you made sure to attach the floors to the correct wall such that the gap exists, yes. You can do this as high as you want.
Its not easy to see the gap unless you know its there / are familiar with how it works. You can easily hide it (depending on which you use). For example the two square one, the gap is really small, so its hard to see. And if you place it in a place no one is expecting (e.g. inner peaks) it'll be less likely to be found. This is just a concept video purely for to encourage people to mess around with this.

Yes i think it does, for hiding it, technically, its impossible. You can know whether something is a foundation or not by using a hammer and if it doesn't have 100% stability, it isn't a foundation.
