To know where you are going, there has to be an understanding of where you are coming from! I said that to illustrate how far we have come from where we were to where we are at present; the divide is across three generations, and with each generation moving further away from the principles that are responsible for the cultivating of the culture which is carved out of tradition in some cases. I believe that Barbados is on the right path to establishing the atmosphere necessary to preparing the foundation on which you intend to build. When we fail to practice those things that constitute our culture; it will die. In my opinion, this is what happened across the past three generations, and I am encouraged to see that there are those who have the vision to realize that the culture must be re- established, but also recognizes that they are looking to turn a big ship in a small Harbour.
