Growing up in the cocoa beach area surfing we would often see Kelly out. He was on another level for sure. But always a good person. Humble and just appreciative. He is the 🐐
Kelly Slater is quite the innovator with his wave pool ranch, outerwear gear, and he can sing and play the ukelele with confidence.A really talented person.
I'm 65yr old nomadic mutha trucker xbeen in love with KS, 30yrs, never really envious or jealous basically in awe of his talent & character, always kind generous sympathetic & more champion of a man, an example 4 us all, gentle & intellectual no macho BS, He deserves Hall of Fame Gold, KS Olympic Gold, I could joyously go to my grave, Damn I could turn, 🤔🙏
It would be an outstanding achievement just to compete in the Olympics at 50 years of age, let alone win. I surfed for 40 plus years into my early 50s then the wheels fell off. I will never stop grieving what I have lost.
So dude picked her up when she was like 18 and he was in his mid thirties. Gotta say that's kinda a weird age gap. I'm 32 and I cant imagine dating a 18-21 year old. Way to young
Agreed, i'm 32 and my girlfriend is just a couple of years younger, it's definetly challenging to date girl with such an huge age gap. He also dated Pamela Anderson back in the 90's, when she was 30 and he was in his early 20's or so.
Graham did good in the water! Superb interviews. Two class people in their own fields. I suspect Kelly will probably be very good at interviewing should he choose to do it
Really enjoyed that, lot of really good questions, I like the ideology of Outerknown, Kelly is like the Boyan Slat of surfing..I was also quite shocked how good Kelly can sing, he can actually hold a note.. sick..!
As a Native from Hermosa Beach and moved to Dubai and lived here for 30 years trust me NO WAVES HERE... Hey maybe at 56 I can learn lol. He is amazing and God bless him. What a surfer... He is a Hero in my eyes
kelly i heard you during covid and was bummed because you seemed like you werre nervous and it seemed like you were singing maybe little low or high,,,,,,,this song on the ukelele is legit and your voice sounds good in that key,,,,if you come to virginia beach hit me up for a paddle and jam sesh i live right by seth broudy who you competed against back in the day in the esa!
I really think that Kelly should have the chance to surf for the USA in the Olympics it's not fair that he has fought so hard this year to make it a dream and now John John might come back and surf in the Pipe Masters while being out for so long, I know J.J. is probably the best surfer in the world, but he will have a lot more chances in the future and this will be the last shot for Kelly

20 minute episode? whats the point even of shooting all of that? At least put up a "full" one on a homepage somewhere. Doesnt even make sense to only do a 20 min ep!!!
This guy is absolutely incredible...but the statement about being the best ever in his genre than all the other greats in their genres...apparently they never heard of Rodney Mullen.
Slater is the only athlete in the world at any sport who competes at the highest level year in and year out. Mullen was/is great, invented everything and skateboarding is forever in his debt, but he only competed for about 10 years tops. Kelly has been doing it for over 30 years. And he is still going strong....
None of it counts when he has a wave pool to practice at 24 hrs a day when everyone else has to wait to surf only on certain days and then fight for for their waves. Kelly`s the biggest con- job in surfing history.
jay tee really? To me his understated delivery kind of fits perfectly. Sometimes great talkers don’t make great interviewers. Graham let’s his guests speak and often gets very fluid responses from them I feel
@@Paperbagman555 he doesnt vibe very will but i agree letting the guests speak is his strong point, anytime he talks it's super clunky. his energy is just off
Only surfers understand his absolute greatness.
Growing up in the cocoa beach area surfing we would often see Kelly out. He was on another level for sure. But always a good person. Humble and just appreciative.
He is the 🐐
He is the god of surfing
The Goat! One day I will surf the ranch. One day...
Daaaaaaa goat.
Time for Hot Ones Kelly
That would be Hysterical
By far the best and widest ranging interviewer
I'm impressed Graham got up and managed to surf some waves. We all know it's not easy.
To me Kelly Slater is a great sportsman, a person to respect, he is so nice and helpful to all the People, down to earth, best wishes 🌊🌊 🌊
Kelly Slater is quite the innovator with his wave pool ranch, outerwear gear, and he can sing and play the ukelele with confidence.A really talented person.
Man... His father really reminds me of Heisenberg
Remember reading about him in surf mags during the 80’s. 🏄♂️👍😊
Incredible he stays extremely competitive about to hit 50.

Kelly Slater gives him a Eddie Vedder pick & his response warranted a take back.
for sure, I'd of slapped that right out of his hand. "There ya go, yuk yuk..."
I was really liking him before that answer
Nice in depth look at the greatest competitor of all time.
Slater Pipeline victory at 50 years old… Check!
Damn, dude can sing...

So sad that he couldn't qualify
Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods, Kelly Slater ....
*How do these athletes keep getting interviews with the GOAT?*
I’m a Huge fan of Kelly Slater
Kelly slaters eyes are the definition of mesmerizing.
It's an old interview combined with maybe a possibility 1 minute of new material.

But it's not you, it's them. And they seem pretty damn happy about it.

TV guy, you've been blessed by Slates. So lucky, so lucky, sharing same wave as Slates... OMG. yolo.
Bucket list check off! “Rides a wave next to Kelly Slater!”

😂 Strong troll game
it seems exhausting trying to have a conversation with graham, dude is on the autism scale for sure
