Hey there, I'm a Halestorm fan too, but I'm a 69 year old hippe and classic rock fan and early metal head. Halestorm is my favorite band of the 21st century, hands down. I have seen many 100s of concerts going back to 1971 and Lzzy Hale is my favorite singer since Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam arrived on the scene in 1990. It takes a lot to get me to shows in the last decade but she motivated me enough to see them 3 times since 2016, phenomenal band both live and in studio. Someone still know how to Rock, as do Liliac, Dorothy, Plush, The Warning, Simply Reckless, Samantha Fish, etc in the last decade. Have you heard all 5 albums of their originals and 3 EPs of great covers of old classic rock songs? They have quite a catalog since coming out in 2009. They would have been superstars in the 70s when Rock was King. Freak Like Me, I Miss the Misery, Mayhem, Rock Show & Daughter of Darkness are the tip of the iceberg. For a live thrill, there are several recent sets of theirs on You Tube that are fantastic but my favorite live video of them is PinkPop 2016, they did a one hour set at the huge festival and blew everyone away, it is one of the best live sets I have ever seen anyone play, they and the audience are on fire! In any event, always good to see another Halestorm fan, they helped save Rock for this old timer who was lucky to see Pink Floyd, The WHO and Black Sabbath in their prime, Halestorm brings me back to the good old days. Rock On and enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎹🎶
I was a fan of this song from the moment I heard it but as soon as I heard Lzzy tell the story of the writing of it, it immediately became one of my favorite Halestorm tracks. Very steamy story.
Yess!!! They have wild range - they've done a ton of fun covers, in all kinds of genres, that are definitely worth a listen. If you liked this one, though, I think you'd definitely enjoy "Amen", "Apocalyptic", "Mz. Hyde", "You Call Me a Bitch Like It's a Bad Thing", and "Here's to Us". They have more fun ones, but those kind of fit this vibe in a number of ways, in my opinion! (And a few of them are seriously underappreciated, not sure why!)
freak like me, i miss the misery, i am the fire, you call me a bitch like its a bad thing, uncomfortable, back from the dead, i get off, wicked ways, the steeple, amen, here's to us

No kidding! First Halestorm song I heard was their cover of G'NR's Out Ta Get Me, and my jaw DROPPED! It sounded AWESOME! I've been a fan ever since!
If you want another silly Halestorm song with a similar tone, I recommend "Jumped the gun".
I'd heard the song before, and enjoyed the steamy lyrics. The video is new to me.. a bit more of an Elvira/Rocky Horror vibe than I was expecting.
If this is your favorite Halestorm track, review 'I Miss The Misery ' and 'Apocalyptic '
Please react to more Halestorm! Anything, they're amazing
The song is based on a true story.

I love this song. Call me dirty-minded or naughty, but when I hear this, only one thing comes to mind: a hot girl pole-dancing! 😉😍
