I love how more and more bike review vids are spraying the comments section with the spray bottle before they can even creep up to the table 🤣. Loved this breakdown guys, bike looks sick!
@@jamesdrury6627 I do have the Neuron. My last bike i had for 10 years, so the Neuron is definitely more slack than that. Yes it's more of middle of the road on Geometry, but I needed something that climbed well. Some of the slack bikes are squishy in the climb. The Neuron fit me well
Thank you, finally someone including lock out information.. Going through dozens of reviews on all sorts of bikes, and they rarely talk about if there is handlebar LO for the rear or not! That is a make or brake for me, cus I am terrible at the climbs... Love the look of this bike, but worry about the seat tube length, if I was to order one..
The grip shifted lockout sucks, mine broke right away. Replaced with levers which crowd the left handlebar but my grip was cut down for the gripshift. I’m getting a 120mm air shaft assembly to replace my 110. Blur TR here.
it comes with 30mm rims , but the jeffsy comes with thinner 27mm ones! Jeffsy needs better stock rims please! Also, its similar to a spec camber in terms of what its built for - very cool.
Eh, I went mid-travel on my first bike (Trek Fuel Ex) and I am probably going to buy something a bit more aggressive next time (thinking Orbea Occam). I live somewhere that you climb a ton and then descend, so I'd rather sacrifice a bit on the uphill to have way more fun on the down.
YT should make a free ride bike, 190mm travel, slightly steeper head angle (65 degree head angle) 7 speed, 26 inch wheels and shorter then modern dh bikes. That would be sick!
Hi Johan, i like this bike! I wanted to buy a neuron CF 8.0 but doubting right now if i should go for the Izzo. I am 184cm and 87kg too. My inner leg length is 91 cm. Would a L suit me or better take a XL frame size? What do you think haven ridden it? Thanks for the review and konnichiwa from The Netherlands!
love to know how the cheaper version rides ,the comp ? have an enduro bike , something like this would be great as an alternative option ,for lighter fitness rides, but dont want to splash too much on a second bike
I would add the new grip 2 fox 34 and the new dpx2 just because I’m a suspension nut, but i would leave the travel the same and might add a beefier front tire to use the new spare for the rear end of course definitely not to over spec it
Hi Johan, during a test ride on the Izzo I had a lot of pedal strikes while climbing and on flat trails. Did anyone had the same? Of did you ride a different setup? Any tips to decrease the pedal strikes without shortening the cranck? Thnx, Matthijs
@@drewcleland7291 I ordered a new bike the day before yesterday and would have happily bought a Spectral but ... there's no 29er .... So I ordered Jeffsy 29 base and sleep badly for the next two weeks until it arrives here :o)

William DiStasio can’t imagine and definitely won’t be surprised if that scenario will happen... specially trails here in Singapore is quite limited... 🤪
Watch yt is gonna come out with a beefier version and call it the lizzo
You mean the fat bike version🤣
This comedy needs to be valued more
You heard it here first folks haha
LMAO
🤣🤣ruthless
Everyone needs to check out this bikes trailer. Best thing I’ve ever seen
I gotta say, that’s a good looking bike.
So a bike for normal riders 👍
Thank you for video summary
This bike is super appealing, and for 3k, that’s a lot of bike.
@@parkercollins7946 Yt has always had some of the best pricing around tbh

this was an amazingly constructed video, wow. im almost more impressed by how well the construction of the video is rather than the bike
Kinda funny how this was uploaded on my birthday, and this is my new bike now! Everything in this video is true, this bike is so awesome!
I love how more and more bike review vids are spraying the comments section with the spray bottle before they can even creep up to the table 🤣. Loved this breakdown guys, bike looks sick!
although not gonna lie, I would be down for an alloy version.. :/
cant wait for this to arrive, iv also ordered a fox 38 hope v4 brakes n dh casing tyres to make it way more aggressive 😆
yes! you're doing it right! boosh! ;-)
Hopefully someone will make a new linkage so you can increase travel to 160mm
Capra Goat why? They literally have other bikes for that... this is 130mm for a reason.
Landon Coats looks like someone didn’t get the sarcasm here lol
You forgot the Push Eleven6 coil shock, Enve 1/9 wheelset and TLD Factory Jackson PJs 🤪🤘
Can you do a comparison between the new Canyon Neuron cf 8.0 2020 and the YT izzo
Exactly my choice too.. and the cube Stereo 120 ;-)
Looks gorgeous 😍. 3grands a bit strong for me. 2k for an alloy would be sold! 👌
H to the Izzo...
The Izza will be the next bike.
haha
Izzah
I hope this bike takes off. Had it been around last fall I would have had a tougher decision between the Izzo and my Canyon
Do you have the Neuron? How is it? Reviews say not slack enough geometry?

we came thiiiiiis close though... ;-)
EXACTLY what I have been looking for, for months! Cheers for the review ;-)
GREAT review. Hit on all the key things someone would want to know. Subscribed!
E-bike version gonna be called the Lizzo for people who can’t climb up the hill

best comment so far!

Yes this is the same....
Yep.
Izzo has geometry more aggressive!!! It s more a trail bike than Top fuel
How dare you say that lol.... but trek is always way more expensive
Needs a 38 and dh casing tires
nah needs a 40
Yes clearly and this would also make the bike much more aggressive
When will you have a full review of the Izzo? Thanks.
Awesome! Love my 20 jeffsy in 27.5. would love to get the izzo for my 29er

Looks amazing. Definitely missing in their line up and where canyon was getting them.
i will go directly to all mountain/ trail yt jeffsy
Awesome carbon for $3k! It's really the perfect bike for me, at least on paper. Anxious to test it out.
How can I buy this bike I been looking to get me one those
This is a good time to release it as everyone is taking it easy so no need to have a bunch of travel
Oh wow a trek slash and a 2017 Rocky Mountain slayer came together and made a yt
Love it I'm a Trek guy but have been interested in YT for a while probably gonna get a down hill from them at some point

Beautiful bike, but a hate the webbing capturing the rear shock. Other than it being ugly, seems like a big pocket for dirt.

Why does it have 4 piston brakes and 8” rotor?
Poor spec
To keep weight down for those picky xc folks out there.
How does the frame weight compare to the Mojo 3?
Canyon AL7.0 (old) new CF(8.0) or this one ?
What size frame were you riding for your height?
So why does YT use 30 mm rims on the Izzo and 27 mm on Jeffsy? The Forekaster tires are 2.35 and not WT. Maxxis recommends WT tires on 30-35 mm rims
jeffsy and izzo use the same rims.

So what's your choise ?
Am I the only one who thinks that he's ready a script from YT's marketing department? 🤔
Yep, good call. Shit job vital....
Can you give a reason why, or is it just because you dont like the bike?
So far it looks pretty good for a trail bike.
You dont ride "burly lines" with a 130 bike. You ride everything else.
And what will it cost? Probably over 8k€ i reckon.
AMAZINGS
Yt 🥰good price 😊
Its the dream if you have a bike like this and a big enduro bike
... But its just too much money
Legends say Jay-Z is riding this bike.
What’s the max tire width that can fit I there?
could this handle a downhill park
Got a izzo add
how much it cost ?
I want it.
Transition Scout 2020
YT made a better Scott spark
Are you guys filming in Israel? I swear I know these trails!
Video by Tal Rozow and Johan Hjord, so yeah, they are in Israel
It’s 15mm of travel away from being a ‘carbon’ copy of a Trek TopFuel
And waay cheaper, I'm liking this a lot
1.5° slacker HA 🤔
I don't think I'd like the twist grip lockout on a trail bike.
I have this same bike and it’s never an issue. You basically forget it’s there until you want to use it.
A more affortable Trek😉
Looks like a remedy
