Ted, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. As a recent convert to Lutheranism, I've learned so much from your father's vast knowledge and wisdom. May he find peace in The Lord.
God bless you, Ted, and surround you and your family with peace and comfort as you grieve the loss of your Dad. He was a wellspring of knowledge and has furthered the Kingdom in ways that cannot yet be known. Thanking the Lord for the tiny bit I've been able to glean from these conversations you've broadcast! Praise Him for the love, mercy, and grace that is extended to us through Jesus.
Called home to a peace that surpasses all understanding... looking forward to meeting you in Heaven Dad Rod ... I am very greatful for what you taught about Christ from you and your line. God's peace. Christ is sufficient!
Thank you for all of the talks, Dad Rod. You and Ted have really helped me a lot since I converted to Christianity from atheism in February of 2021. I'm saddened by your loss here on Earth but I know eventually we'll all be reunited in Heaven. Ted, I pray that you're doing as well as you can be under the circumstances. I think I live in a different state than you, but still if there is anything I can do or any way I can help please reach out. Also, these videos with you and Dad Rod are so spiritually valuable, PLEASE leave them up on RUclips going forward, please do not ever take them down. Thank you
Gospel for those broken by the church..I cemmented on that sermon and have watched it 3X already... Pastor Chris Rosebrough recommended us sbscribers to him to watch your dads video...I was one of the mad ones who left the Lutheran church...My comment is on that sermon .. Your dad is in glory and God bless the family in your loss ...Bugsy
Ted, belated condolences, your dad has been a super help in my life understanding the Lutheran position from the Biola Conference in '87 (my first encounter) through the White Horse Inn and these podcasts. He will always be remembered in my heart. Peace to you and your family.
Thank you, brothers. Having lived many years in churches that feared alcohol or that wanted to press the Supper into something they could "handle," I know that much of Christian joy comes in simply hearing the words of Jesus and rejoicing in them. Thanks be to God for our faithful Lutheran fathers who simply believed the text. And taught us to.
Love the show ! I have listened to Dr Rosenbladt for years since White Horse Inn , Issues etc , two natures of Christ by Chemnitz . As a reformation baptist thank you for your service to Christ and faithfulness to the gospel !
The early Baptists kept on changing their confessions also. Nothing was settled when their religion began in London in 1641. By 1644 they published their first confession which MAJORED on Baptism being a mere SYMBOL of the WASHING AWAY OF SINS ... Rather than actual washing away of sins (Acts 22:16) By 1646, they dropped their original watered down symbol of washing away of sins altogether..And baptism got "elevated" to a new symbol namely: death burial and resurrection. By 1689 the confession took after the outline and wording of 1646 Westminster Confession. But they changed parts. . But to their credit they did not go along with double Predestination which was found in the Westminster Confession.

Amen, gentlemen!
Believe it or not the early British baptists did use ordinance and sacrament interchangeably.
1689 does exactly this. But then, plain reading of 1689 is spiritual presence.

Was I not cleansed of my sin by Jesus' death ;blood and resurrection at the cross?
