My buddies finally got me into tarkov this wipe. Ended up getting the left behind edition. All I wanted was to be able to throw $10 more at them and get gamma lmao
That's what most of my friends who this is there first wipe reason as well, they don't care about the other perks
I’m wondering whether people who upgrade from EOD to UED will get the EOD cosmetics or not
some good changes such as pockets being available to everyone, but we have to see how hard and late/early the quests are. I hope there are more posts improving things even more, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was it
Are eod accounts that upgraded to unheard losing eod perk of access to all future dlc?
New perks for EOD owners:
1. Lose hydration 4.33% slower between the times 22:00 and 03:00
2. Call in a nuclear strike

I have had many discussions with players about anything level above "Standard Edition" being pay to win. Anything that takes pressure off the players to live and extract is a distinct pay-to-win element. Thank you for being straight up about the state of things in the Tarkov universe.

Faster insurance return in Unheard edition is great. I've been catching up on quests and have been leaving kits on Reserve for days now and yet I still have most of my money. Finally figured out I've been recycling gear thanks to the insurance. Gonna switch to the Rapist to see if I can speed that up even more.

For "Access to Arena for those who purchased the edition at full price" you said it doesn't make sense since EOD owners already have it. What about people who upgraded to Unheard from something other than EOD? What about people who purchased Unheard who didn't own Tarkov before?
But only eod owners paid full price for it since it was only ever reduced for eod

I have a solution.
Remove gamma from the start and give it instead of epsilon at punisher part 6.
Stash space is whatever imo as you can just buy more and it really does not affect in raid stuff.
Pockets should be unlockable up to 4 2x1s for everyone through a quest.
I'd give the 2 2x1s after punisher part 4.
Remove the weird devices from pvp or double down and let ppl call in an airstrike like in spt for say 1 million roubles. It would fix exit camping for example on many maps.

It is supposed to be hardcore if making it more hardcore makes you stop playing then go play something else. RN though it's driving away the hardcore community w nonsense p2w shit. The radio is op af on maps w sniper scavs and ppl can go undetected hunting players who dont just sneak around like pussies. That should be taken away asap and the players who feel they need it should also leave.

@@Solomdooblerfor a standard player it takes 40m rub to fully upgrade the stash. Not exactly pay to win but a huge advantage combined with trader rep, can get better gear much quicker than a standard player. So by week 2 in wipe a standard player will be miles behind an EoD player
@@Solomdooblereverything relevant for gameplay that you can buy is pay2win. Bigger stash, better gear, gamma, better rep, all gameplay relevant and not cosmetic, so it is pay2win.

Imho i‘ve been playing games that where used to be p2w for real. Thats not the case for tarkov. Since no1 knows how the 2 „devices“ will rly work, idk man. For the rest, its kinda qol. For me, p2w in Tarkov would mean something like high tier ammo or armour locked behind a paywall. Im not defending bsg here, they rly messed up. But, i still want eft to be released at some point, cuz i rly enjoy it.

I'm one of those guys, one who doesn't have the skills to play multiplayer Tarkov and have success. I'm 69, fairly new to gaming (I played some Skyrim on my sons pc). I really love gaming, I ended up buying Tarkov a few wipes ago, even though all I did was die to literally everything, I did develop some strats to help a little and I played offline most of the time, just to try to develop some baseline of skill to be able to survive. I ALWAYS wished I could play Tarkov single player and it would count towards my character, now I can, and it's great .
Get your son to help with setting up SPT. I think you could like a game called stalker anomaly as well.

wait ... 20% faster of 24 hours is...... 24x .20 that is 4.8 24-4.8 = 19.2 hours . at 12 hour roll it would be 2.4 so .. 9.6 . that would be returns between 19.2 and 9.6 hours with the reduction.
Bro I feel like you are one of the few that hit the nail on the head with stuff. pve is for sure gonna bring more people into the game and build confidence . I have a friend that just couldn't make it in live he wanted to but he was horrible and so lost and if I died he was just done for. I'm not great but you know what I mean , I was the carry . SPT has been a godsend for him. he has learned so much playing with bots and progressing the game. next wipe he will finally at least know what he needs for and where tasks are and be more used to his favorite firearms. co op is going to do that same thing for people just without mods . which .. until mod support bsg ai is so bad compared to spt but still. it serves the purpose needed it just isn't going to be as fun.
People that think it will split the community doesn't understand .. the pvp guys aren't going to quit live even if they play pve some . but pve guys will only come to live if they build that confidence elsewhere.

Do you know what is happening right now, the community is having a meltdown fueled by videos calling everything P2W, ... How can we know how any of these updates work if we are not giving them a chance to implement those features for us to test? why as a community now do we see something like ''BTR'' and immediately jump to the conclusion its pay to win without having any idea how it works? if the BTR rolls up to help you with 6 rogues on board then its a problem, but if you only have access to the taxi service it could be an incredibly cool feature that bails you out of a sticky 1 v 4 situation or something... problem is we are crying about everything at the moment and forcing BSG to change shit that has not even been in our hands yet just to shut everybody up.
What this is leading to is features being removed entirely that may have been awesome all because we are shouting pay to win. For example reaching level 6 fence and getting the scav 60m reward could have been great, it was clearly an end game reward, something else to chase besides kappa but we cry pay to win and they remove it entirely so now theres no reward to be had... all they needed to do was open that up for everybody to gain and we all would have had a good reason to grind to lv6 fence, something 90 percent of the playerbase has never achieved and never had a reason to achieve... every trader should have a level 6 reward but as long as everybody can achieve it then its great for all. The only pay to win element was a slight boost to reputation with fence that helped you along, but it was from 0.2 to 0.5 rep, or 1 duff scav kill from being back to 0.2, absolutely no advantage at all.
We have to stop crying about pay to win before we know how any of it works, we are playing ourselves out of what might be interesting as hell mechanics in game, all we need to ask them to do is make it achievable in game for everybody and were golden.
I would've agreed with you a year ago but now it's blatantly clear that this shit is pure greed and P2W is the direction they're going. And yes, being able to call in a BTR or call in friendly players at any point in a raid - with the feature being exclusive to the new edition - is P2W. Hell, having doubled pocket spaces is P2W.
You gotta have enough self respect to put a limit on what you're willing to tolerate and not blindly follow because you like the game, you're the reason they have any success.
@@averymicrowave1713 no dude I absolutely agree with you, I’m not saying what I’m saying to defend anything BSG has done, they tried to peg us end of story and absolutely some of these items etc are by definition pay to win but where I think I’m going with this is it’s tarkov right, nothing you buy is going to give you that much of an advantage at all and we have all known this for years. EOD has p2w items over other editions, left behind has p2w items over standard etc etc but knowing what we know about the game it’s far more complicated and nuanced right.
One of the best things about tarkov is no matter what gear you have, anybody can kill anybody, it’s always been that way and always will be that way.
What I am trying to say with my comment is we have to let BSG work things out, we have to first see how these items are implemented, find out how they work and if people gain an advantage or not and we are all crying so hard about p2w now being a thing when it’s never really helped anyone before because tarkov is tarkov.
I get it though, I understand why people are pissed and I’ve been pissed about a lot of this myself but we have to play the game for us not anybody else, I’m here for it if they want to make the game I enjoy better even if I think low of the devs right now.

I still don't like this and I'm an EOD buyer. Granted I have under 200 hours but I bought the EOD under the impression that this was is. The last expansion to buy for this game. Unfortunately I was wrong, and that sucks. Luckily enough the people who play this game a lot/all the time have voiced their opinions and may have saved this damn game. Unfortunately, despite popular opinions, the game developer has decided to negotiate instead of "bowing down to the people who game him the money to make this game right" and that's fine but he's still an idiot. Unfortunately for him, we reside in reality and still has yet to either get rid of his stupid ego or figure out if he wants to keep making a game.
