Two things: I’m thinking about getting the attentions star and would love to see it compared to a journey, as a similar transition ball. Also, I think the second, lane only, camera is not a positive addition, it makes it really hard to see how far down lane the ball is getting.
I got the vebo, i love it and i use it on the fresh as well. Dual camera is good, i recommend the lower camera, to be about a foot higher. Great video. Thanks for the comparison
I watched The Hype's review of the "Attention Star" and it is a wicked ball. Your review showed some of the same backend wickedness. This is more ball than people think. I also found it amusing where you set up your lane side camera, pretty much where I stand when I bowl on house shots. 😂
Havent decided if Im gonna actually get back deep into bowling. If I do, I have my eye on building an arsenal of BW3.0 at top, Phaze II, VEBO, Journey, Ruby. And then a plastic I guess.
Both of these balls are amazing. You hit the nail on the head. VEBO is def smoother than the AS, but man, the AS comes off the spot with authority! :) I've been shooting super well with AS. "AI" core ftw! Highly recommend it!
Love it. Great transition ball for me. I have it more angular then VEBO. I still have only drilled the one pin up. I drilled it weaker then my pin up VEBO. Might drill another one just like VEBO. They are two balls that fill a similar gap in my bag. They are rarely in there together. I use my pin down VEBO more the both the pin up balls. So jury is still out. I like pin down asymmetrical balls though. Don’t do anything symmetrical pin down because we can not put a P3 hole in them anymore.
Luis how are you? I was watching the PBA major on Sunday on TV. I saw a lot of virtual energy blackout. I’m starting to like that ball now the way you guys throw it and it’s pretty versatile too. what is your next ball review and or comparison coming up next on the channel
i have a phaze v do you think any of these balls would pair up nicely with it ? whats are two other ball that I could pair up with my phaze v I am a two handed bowler.
I recently bought a vebo x-comp on a good deal... honestly, I'm not impressed at all right now oob. I need to mess with the surface to make it better. Right now like my Sublime much more. As for the Attention Star, I'm sure it will be good, but I have a pretty fresh RST x-2 and another one nib on standby.
Hey Luis, if ever get a chance to throw another overseas ball, the Roto Grip Optimum Idol with the Ikon AI core and Microtrax Coverstock, so will be way stronger ball than the Summit I think.
I think the ball reviews would be really interesting if you could put them up against sport patterns. The house shot really makes every ball look the same
My arsenal consists of Vebo, Sublime, Journey, Xponent solid, hustle camo, ice. Very very versatile. Vebo and Journey is an excellent 1-2 punch from really far left (as a righty), and the Sublime is really good for first ball out of bag since it tends to lock up once it hits friction. Tbh Sublime is more of a sport shot ball for me, but everything else still stands
IMHO the new camera angle is too low and the ball motion into the pins is not as easily discernible as in the traditional view. It can be a nice addition as a secondary angle if you want to edit it a few shots.
0:06 suggestion if you want 50% of the 60% who are not subscribers. Do monthly giveaways to subscribers. Like a jersey or ball spinner. Then every 6 months giveaway a ball. But only subs can win.
I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not a fan of the lower angle. To my eyes it removes the ability to reference the boards being covered by the ball, or where the hook is happening front to back almost.
Vebo is always in my bag. Along with the Pi, Summit, n Ruby.

agreed on the camera. Not a fan of the switching views.
Not a fan either. It made it difficult to see the back end motion of the ball.
The Vebo is so smooth but so sharp at the same time. They nailed that ball
I'm satisfied with the vebo and the camera is good IMO. Keep up the great work Luis your doing perfect work.
VEBO was money on the fresh 3:1 2022 PWBA Tour Championship pattern I bowled on last weekend.
The AS looked good on this week’s PBA Tour stop.
The new angle not working for me 😢

Great video! Do you surface the Vebo at all?
We had a puddle last night gave me too much over under on attn star but for what I was seeing great game 2 ball.

I Like the camera angles
How do you think the Attention Star compares to the Sublime

I have 2 VEBO’s one up. One Down with Surface. I just drilled an Attention Star. Will test tomorrow. Love VEBO. I rarely drill 2 of anything.
How's the Star treating u?

@@themitchellama Nice! glad to hear it is going well, i got mine drilled and have used it for a couple of sessions... it's been great so far as well

Not a fan of the duel cameras being on all the time. The second camera is a little low for me. If you use it maybe try raising it some (1 ft).
i have a phaze v do you think any of these balls would pair up nicely with it ? whats are two other ball that I could pair up with my phaze v I am a two handed bowler.
vebo would pair greatly
How do you think the Attention Star stacks up to the Fate? The Fate is my go to transitional ball currently.
Should compare it with the new harsh reality.
Not liking the dual camera setup hard to see lane reaction
I have the attention star and I hit it with a 2000 pad and it looks really good on the fresh so roto grip out did storm 😊
I liked that ball with some surface

just dropped a sub man, great video
Thanks! I appreciate that!
Cho always looks good but the attention star also maybe for me on fresh because of low revs and low speed
Cool video talk tech bowling ball Luis napples
Scotty Thompson if you are going to TROLL this channel .... AT LEAST spell Luis's name correctly !!!!

This video makes me want a VEBO more than the attention star just based on my style I think the VEBO and Journey would be a good 1-2 punch
My arsenal consists of Vebo, Sublime, Journey, Xponent solid, hustle camo, ice. Very very versatile. What does it mean when the ball is cleaner or smoother?
cleaner refers to longer before it hooks and smoother refers to how round it is off the spot
IMHO the new camera angle is too low and the ball motion into the pins is not as easily discernible as in the traditional view. It can be a nice addition as a secondary angle if you want to edit it a few shots.
UC2.5?
I think ditching that camera would be best, I like seeing the ball motion from a higher angle
How do you guy have $300-$600 to get new ball every month?
Lou is on staff for Storm Products .... that's how .....

Yes that works but that creates un-organic subscribers

Tight? I must be watching a diff video there is friction all over the place
