won a lottery at my go to shop, got a bottle of blantons & sold it to my boss marked up 50%. enjoying some hermogenes vasquez madrecuishe from cuish mezcales with the proceeds. score!
Great to see you back. I was nervous for a while. Being a scotch guy I knew next to nothing about mezcal (I used to but ilegal). Learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you for being my mezcal sherpa
I was fortunate enough to visit Maestro Emigdio this spring and enjoyed some 10 year in glass madrecuixe that he had at the house… really delicious! The man is a maestro w all agaves but his madrecuishe is perhaps his best.
Oy my gawd!!! That Madrecuishe aged in glass for 10 years must have been mind bending. I haven't had the opportunity to meet him yet but it's definitely something I'll seek out next trip to Oaxaca. Thanks for sharing this story, Eric. It's fantastic!!
Hey Zack, Great video, tons of info great! I had El Jolgorio Madrecuishe, I really enjoyed it...I'm going to keep an eye out for the top bottles you recommended. cheers, Ron
Hi Ron! Yeah that EJ Madrecuishe is great. I only tried a couple oz of it I think 2 summers ago so I'm due for a refresher, haha. Thanks for watching brother!!
Excited to see new content. Love your videos. I would point out that the Dixeebe Madrecuish is coming in at $90 for 375ml, so def in the more expensive category.
Hey! I'm glad you are back as well. I'm going to try and go on a run here. Thanks for the heads up on the Dixeebe, that's pricey IMO for a 375 ml. They are a really good brand but that's upper echelon pricing that works out the be $180 for a full bottle. Not mid-range pricing for sure.
yeeeaa nice one! very interesting about that fungi. cool to understand.
Thanks bud, glad you enjoyed it. Salud, amigo!
Call me the Karwinskii Kraken! Love em! Glad to see another ideo from ya Broskii
Haha, you're not afraid to demolish a Karwinskii sipper that's for sure. 'Yeeeeew!

Hey amigo! Thanks for the fantastic feedback. I'm very happy to be back. Have you sipped on any great mezcal lately?
Vago Elote which was pretty good. Then 5 Sentidos Tobala and Sierra Negra blew my mind.
Damn! You're certainly not messing around in the quality department. Nice work!

@@psilo110 that's awesome! That Emigdio fella knows how to make some great juice. He's my fav mezcalero in the Vago line.
