    🏠 Rungfah Farm: / rungfahfarmstay
Welcome to the stunning Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani, Thailand! I had the chance to hang out with P’You from Rungfah Farm: / rungfahfarmstay . His property backs up to the mountains and the lush green rainforest, it’s pristine. And the best thing about P’You is his love and respect for nature, and his organic farm.
To begin with we first went around his farm, some of which is grown, some of which grows wild, and harvested ingredients for lunch. From fruits to vegetables and herbs, Rungfah Farm is full of tropical things to eat - for me it’s a fresh food paradise - and around his farm you can find almost all the ingredients you need for a Thai food feast. On top of that, P’You has amazing knowledge of ingredients, and their uses for cooking and medicinal value. He’s so laid back and so friendly, and he’s part of the reason why visiting Rungfah Farmstay is so much fun.
After walking round the farm for a while, we got started cooking, and the cooked some common Thai dishes, as well as a few jungle survival style dishes - like rice cooked in bamboo over open fires.
Here are the other dishes that P’You and his wife made for us:
    Chicken curry
    Snake fruit chili dip
    Banana blossom tempura
    Fried bamboo shoots
    Fried melinjo leaves
It was a delicious Thai meal, and for me the best thing about it was that it was cooked with love using natural, local, and ultimately freshly picked ingredients from Rungfah Organic Farm right in the jungle of Khao Sok, Thailand!
Great experience, highly recommended. Thank you to P’You from Rungfah Farm: / rungfahfarmstay for hosting me on this day of backyard cooking.
Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

This guy is the best food host I've ever seen, how is his English so perfect, what a sprawling mansion with nature all around him, what a life wow

I think he has a gift for languages. I know many people who lived for years in native English-speaking countries while getting their master's and PhD, whose English is nowhere near as good as this gentleman's. Agree with the rest of what you say.

Beautiful! I'm so amazed! This is so much better than going to any modern, luxurious and expensive restaurants. Nature is the best choice!
And this makes me think, what will God serve us in Paradise soon? The views, the foods, the fruits, the drinks, and the environment? May we are all worthy and accepted to Heaven. (If He wills)

I respect and admire khun. You and his family for living naturally. I had lived and worked in Thailand for six years 28 years ago. I love Thai food which is extensive and delicious. I used to tell to my Thai friends that I would die of over eating, if I had stayed in Thailand a few years more. Best wishes to khun. Mark wiens, khun. You and his family members. They brought back memories of Thailand and its cuisine.

I visited this place in March, in fact I wanted to go to Thailand mainly because of this video. I can definitely recommend anyone to visit Rungfah Farm, it's as amazing - or even more - as this video makes you think! Super nice owner, happy to explain everything, just generally a really nice atmosphere. By the way we also had the fried banana blossoms, the taste blew my mind! I wish it was available in my country, I would for sure make it myself if I could. Definitely I want to visit again!

Hello, Thank you Mark and family, first off. Thank all those that help Mark make his show. Thank all the gracious people also along the way. I can cook what I know how to cook,, Watching Mark all around the world, eating some of the same ingredients I have locally, but changing everything else, the seasoning, the cooking process. Creates a totally different result. Thank you.
I used to only make Pot roast in the crock pot with roasts,, potatoes carrots onions,,
Now I look to make something like barbacoa tacos, and other things I've learn on your travels.
    I thank you again.
Once the world calms down again,, Gettysburg has a niche food area. If your ever close.

Thanks for bringing back the memories. It's been almost a year when we visited this hidden gem whilst staying in Khao Sok. It wasn't easy to find. I think we found the information on the last page of one booklet we randomly checked for activities nearby. I'm super glad we found You and his farm, one of the best and memorable experiences! You is very kind and fun character. And the place and the food is simply amazing!

I love how genuinely appreciative and enjoy the food that this wonderful family worked so hard to prepare. I CANNOT WAIT to watch every single video of yours. With all the silly food videos on RUclips, it’s so very refreshing to watch such a quality channel that I actually learn new things about how people in our world eat.

So many of us are detached from nature because of supermarkets and packaging. It's so nice to see nature. It's relaxing and calming. We're more likely to appreciate our meals if we know where it's come from.
