It would be cheaper just to buy one already made at the same Dollar Tree location. Seriously, you all, need to start doing some math and calculate your wages and cost of product before you start doing these CHEAP looking DIY projects.
Of course you’re entitled to your opinion but crafting is a hobby that many enjoy. It’s more about being creative (just like painting your own work of art or sewing a dress by hand) and not about only making items that you can’t buy cheaper from a store. Furthermore, YOU need to seriously calculate the additional wages those that have the courage to share their work on RUclips make from engagement, even when we respond to rude comments like yours. You obviously have no idea. I would encourage you to pursue one of your passions rather than discouraging others from doing what they enjoy. My DIYs don’t look cheap by my standards and those are the only standards that matter. Now go off and have the day you deserve. Thanks for watching!

Beautiful ideas! Just wanted to add that for those planning to do a lot more cutting of the acrylic squares for projects, it might make sense to get a plexiglass cutting knife from Amazon. It might make the scoring and cutting easier. Love these ideas ❤

Theres a lot of gratification that comes with knowing you can build or create your own solutions and decor. I personally enjoy watching your videos and many others. Many here on RUclips are a great source of ideas for just about anything. And occasionally, y'all help me figure out the logistics or details of a project i want to do. You guys all help me brainstorm on how i can make something i need, or how best to go about it. And yes, these projects came out very nice. ❤

PS I use the rod under my glass when I am cutting it. I am not 100% sure that it would work with the acrylic, but you could try it on a piece of scrap. Thanks again for sharing.

To break plexiglass, use a hard surface like a table place book or 2x4 on the score, and it should pop clean
Nail files are good for smoothing the cut edges. Neat idea, I’m going to try shelves to fit in a small window.

The dollar tree here has none of what you show. It has very little craft products. It sucks.
