  • Back in the summer Kev went on a trip up to Hampshire with Chris to fish both the Hampshire Avon and the Dorset Stour. His aim was to break his chub and barbel PBs! Obstacles such as low water levels and high temperatures were in their way, can Kev catch his PB? Watch the video to find out!

Live a few minutes walk from Throop, used to fish there a lot when I was younger. Been thinking of taking it up again. as got some really good catches down there, although the river does not look as clear as it used to be. Often walk around the Royalty as well.

Nice vid, just a tip mate, as youre using pelletts in the feeder mix i would be using these on the hair as this will be what the varbel are eating, usually a couple of 8mms do the business even for the bigger fish, tight lines

Thanks for the feedback Alan. I really enjoyed making this one, even after having the footage for months and not looking at it it came together quite easily. If you could share it with your friends it would really help the channel grow! Till next time, tight lines!

Keeping those fish out of the water far too long.....

Wa yne every angler in this video studied fisheries management at Sparsholt College. We are more than aware of how long fish should be kept out of the water and would not put them in any unnecessary danger. All fish caught swam off fit and healthy once returned.
