got me a pair of Redington boots and HDX waders I think...I spent around 500 for the waders and 150 for the boots. I fish a good 3 to 5 times a month for 5-10 hours. I've got that redington crosswater, its great for a starter, but that reel on there is junk. Get it wet a couple times and the drag will just stop working, Ive got mine wet no more than 10 times and the drag knob does nothing. the drrag is set. I've broken the tip twice, 1st time setting the hook, amazon took care of me there, and 2nd time was when the line froze to the top guide and again the first fish I caught there broke the tip. i fixed it myself because I wasnt going to send it of and wait 6 to 10 months for a replacement. bit of flex/spring steel and some GSP thread did it. lol.
