I hope it is in the contract that they do not own the land until construction goals are accomplished. The last thing downtown needs is a group acquiring all of that prime real estate and then holding it until they can make a nice profit for doing nothing.

Safety of the city’s citizens should be number 1, all of these projects and.more will come to the city.

To make this work, it has to be a holistic approach, which has to include keeping the public and workers safe. I avoid STL events due to the crime. When we do visit, we are more likely to drive a bit closer to downtown, and then Uber in and out. Sad that it has gotten to this. But not worth the risk and potential damages to visit STL.

The 1 billion dollar investment is being made with private financing not Federal or State Dollars?

THE DEVELOPERS ARE TRULY QUIXOTIC PERSONALITIES ! ANY THING IN SAINT LOUIS WILL FAIL, IF CRIME, LOITERING, AND HOMELESSNESS ARE NOT FIRST ADDRESSED AGRESSIVELY !

It needs it cause stl is turning to a dump

Not a word in regard for the people of Saint Louis. These companies will build nothing for us but more of what already exists here.

  • @WILL_E_1

Let's make this WORK! Just make sure it's beautiful and functional AND urbanist

St Louis doesn’t have a Gateway south problem, it has a people problem

The source of income for these big-talk youngsters? If they genuinely know anything about downtown StL, they'd know they must first invest in a magical security plan to deal with the crime.

Thats what the community needs!! Developed property show casing under paid police fighting the same criminals thanks to the shortage of prosecutors!!! St.louis is doing it big!! Mini Mexico

Fix anything in ST.LOUIS, I am so happy to be so far away from where I was born in 1974, the 1900s, I grew up and went to school with Wesley Bell. SO GLAD ME AND HIM COOL, BUT NAH BRA, I AM TOO BRA GLAD I LEFT STL.
