- Ayns is back with the band to give the rig a proper hammering!
Welcome to the show! Our good friend Aynsley Lister has visited us twice in the past couple of years. The first visit was to get some inspiration on a new tone journey - that video is here: • Bigger Tone For Aynsle... - and secondly to bring that rig to fruition and talk about Strats - that video is here: • Aynsley Lister Rig Pro...
To cap it all off Ayns has come back with the band to show us what that board and those tones are now doing in full context. He also has a fantastic new record out, Along For The Ride, about which you can discover more at www.aynsleylister.co.uk/
This was filmed in August 2022
Huge thanks to Ayns and of course Jono Martin on bass and Craig Bacon on drums - total pleasure having you guys here to play!

Awesome performance! Anyone else hoping that Cardinal Black and the Aynsley Lister Band does a US tour together? Maybe call up the Bros Landreth, they can meet you! Could be that's too much great musicianship in one place they might cause a rift in the space-time continuum.
That would be the show of a lifetime.
Humbling when you think of the effort that's gone into this - the playing, the recording, editing etc. With these awesome tunes, you are spoiling us.....thanks all!
Thank you Jamie!
Thanks guys, was a fun session!
Craig! Lovely fills dood. Laaaavvverly groove!
🙏 looks and sounds great!
Thank you Mick and Aynsley for this joyous video. Absolutely brilliant performance by Ayns, Jono and Craig. Listened in total silence and awe at the musicianship. Awesome doesn’t cover it😮
Thanks Alan!
This. His singing and playing are dreamy (gosh, I sound like a 1950s fangirl) and I drifted off on a cloud of awesome tone. That's the best £50 I think anyone's ever spent. Although the board might have cost a bit more, but isn't that what we're here for?
Did a guitar tuition weekend with Aynsley a few years back. Aynsley is one of the nicest and most generous people you’d ever want to meet. Fantastic player and great song writer! 👍
Cast a light immediately reminded me of Van Morrison. Absolutely beautiful.
Mick & Aynsley, Thank you both so much for this introduction into Aynsley’s music. The songs and performance are really, really great and the video and audio production is superb! Thanks again!
Thank you Zoot!
Had the pleasure of seeing aynsley at the cheese and grain was a amazing night and the new songs played were incredible been waiting for the new album ever since cheers for this
That was ace! Ainsley's right hand rhythm playing is so good. How many of us get so caught up with the left hand that we forget that our right hand is keeping the train rolling and people's feet tapping?
I've worked with Aynsley in the past.
Lovely bloke. Always very polite and professional.
Fantastic player too.
I know Ansley been around for a while but I discovered him through TPS….and I’ve been listening to him non-stop since then. Big thanks to D&M for all the new the gear and sounds they bring to us every week!!!
Awesome, love it! And amazing how he makes that Framus (?) guitar sounds!
HOLY COW thats freaking awesome. I love the dynamic range and the band just clicks and has it in spades. WOW, Im buying that antique CD for sure. GREAT WORK !!!!!!!
Thanks for this. I’ve never heard of them before but wow. Really tight performance. I’m gonna have to look at what else they’ve done now. Would love to see them live. Really enjoyed this on the hour I had spare whilst my son had a nap. Cheers 🎉
Superb Aynsley and the band. Can't wait for the new album, its been quite a while coming!👍
Anyone who has not seen Aynsley live should not miss the opportunity. Top guitarist, deserves more recognition and a genuinely decent bloke. All the best.
The mix on these live sessions is sooooo goooood.
Thank you Raedell!
Seen Aynsley Lister many a time down at the Cellar Bar at the Maltings in Farnham in the UK. Great performer, a great entertainer, a great man, and a great band...
If it wasn't for the first video with him discovering delay....I would have never heard of him. Still my favorite guest on that pedal show. I have watched/listened to that first video so many times I have lost count. I have created helix patches based off of his tone. Thank you mick for bringing this man to us.
Nice one! Thanks for watching - this was super fun to do!
Loved the show. Alan was spot on with his comment.
Umm……..not what I was expecting on a Tuesday morning. Very very inspiring, I can’t even imagine what that sounds like in the room. Aynsley, you are amazing.
I love that drummer!
A voice as glorious as the playing. You boys have the coolest friends! We all thank you.
That is absolutely wonderful. Singing, harmonies, playing, guitar, bass, drums all sound excellent. Nice arrangements. Well mixed. I especially like how the drums sound. Excellent video TPS!!!
Thanks Marco! We can thank Glyn Johns for the mic’ing technique and Craig for being such a wonderful tubbist with GREAT tubs. :0)
Very nice! The sound was great, and the songs a real pleasure! Great job and thanks!
Absolutely brilliant!
Finally had some time to really listen to this, glad I did! Some great songs! I’m excited to hear the album!
Thanks fellas! Aynsley is always a pleasure to see on your show! Love your work leg-ends!!
Wooh! You guys rocked it! I’ve just finished my 4th listen back to back. Thanks to the band and TPS! Made my morning (I’m in the US). Can’t wait for the album release!

Great show! Superlative guitar Tones, and stylings. I’ve watched the other shows with Aynsley and he has stepped it up! Great to hear his music.
A smart sounding band indeed ! Love the sound of this "Framus" that Aynsley seems to connect with perfectly : they found each other for sure !

Yeah man, awesome! Happy brew!
Great band.! Thanks for that.!👍🏼❤️
Thank you! Aynsley, you rock!
Just ..... wow! 🙏
That was excellent on so many levels. The songs, mix, playing..all top shelf. Not normally my style of music..but do yourself a favour..put on some headphones and dive in. Truly great. If that doesn't make you want to pick up a guitar..nothing will. Well done tps peeps.
Thank you kindly Kevin!
Can't wait to watch this later!
This is good. This is real good.
Stellar! Not what I was expecting -- what, no Strat? -- but enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you Aynsley, Jono, Craig and Mick.
Great sound boys! Such a talented group.
That was lovely.
Many thanks Mick, great performance from Aynsley and the band, album ordered.
what a treat! as soon as I saw Aynsley's name at TPS, I have to like it. can't wait to savor this video after work today!
Thanks for this. I've been a big fan of Aynsley for many years and with the 2 amps setup he's sounding better than ever.
This Friday is shaping up to be a great day- Aynsley's and Larkin Poe albums both arriving and a TPS Experience Day to boot. Can't wait.
Oh my! What a performance! I love that you are branching out and having these mini-concerts for us. Aynsley and his band are not anything I would have stumbled across in my regular listening but I loved it, and I am a new fan.
This is so cool. I love how the show has grown from those early videos on the gigrig channel, so inspiring!
Thanks Ed!
Lovely session & performance!
The sound and mix you guys are getting in TPS studios is great guys! Ainsley is great, and the tracks sound killer!
Thank you Todd!
Superb job! Band and production.
Really enjoyed that. Craig is a fantastic drummer 🤘
3 great tunes, a new fan gained 👍
Love this guy
One word, "Excellent" great band, video and sound recording.
This was so great! Wonderful song writing and really well recorded/filmed. Nice job guys!
Thanks Keith!
Aynsley is great - playing, tone, songs construction, the whole package - I found about him a few years ago and he, among others, is on rotation on all sound reproduction devices around. Can't wait for the new album! And kudos to TPS for this fine entertainment treat (as usual :) ).
Amazing. I love this show. Aynsley is so much fun. Can't wait to listen to it tonight on my hifi set up!!! Also Nov 11th is Veterans Day in the US. Kudos.
The mix sounds fantastic!! Aynsley can flat out play
Great selection of songs! Suddenly wish I could go thrift shopping for a hollow body no name brand cheap guitar! What a cool sound!
Thanks TPS! Great preview.
Great stuff, marvelous playing! Thanks and cheers from Finland o/
Great tracks!!! I'll be playing the album when it's available !!
I LOVE the live performances at TPS towers - please keep it going!

Wow! Such beautiful music - great! The production quality wad really good too (in that tennie tiny room!) Thanks
Bloody good stuff !
Excellent songs and great tones. Love that op shop find! That means my baby might still be out there hanging on a wall in some small town.
Track One - Sound awesome 👏🏻
Killer tone, great vocal work...Absolutely nails!
I saw them on their last tour and it was 👍🏼. Great musicians!
Great songs, tone and the sound production was on point!
Thank you John!
@@ThatPedalShow no joke, sound productio is top notch.
@@stanislavmigra you are not kidding, TPS is always a notch above the rest in sound reproduction. I felt like I was in the room until I saw that decibel meter hitting 113 on each snare drum hit !!!!! Great job !
Good grief this excellent!👍❤⭐🎸
I've been lucky enough to have had a pre-release CD of the album and love it. Really great performance guys!
Watched this again... what a great mix!
Thanks Matt!
Nice to see the trem in action. I'm new to trems, trying to learn to use one, so this helps.
And the music's lovely.
Awesome upload
OMG this was great! I'm buying the record.
Great tunes and tone. Looking forward to Edinburgh in December 🎸
Really enjoyed that. I was getting tinges of 80s/90s Whitesnake power ballads in some of it.
I’ve been watching you guys for years. Amazing work on the mix and production Mick! This is something you could definitely do all the time.
It sounds amazing. Total separation.
It takes a lot of work to get anywhere near this level.
Just wanted to say thank you and it sounds and looks phenomenal.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much Michael. Great musicians make it easy from my end! Very kind of you to say!
Loving the recent ‘cheeky’ extra videos to get my TPS fix! Found Aynsley and his band really enjoyable and inspiring. Back catalogue (on CD!) ordered! Thank you for another musical introduction made.
Thank you James!
Hopefully not the only little show on that pedal show😊.
Thank you all. Album just ordered (CD).
yes! I've just ordered the CD, Ainsley!
Aynsley - sorry auto-correction took over!
Wow. What a fantastic performance Aynsely. The intro to Home in particular is very, very special.
Im fairly confident that the guitar is an Egmund Lucky 7, I recently traded one in for a Gibson Les Paul, though mine had a pickup which was built into a floating pickguard and control plate all in one. After some research I read that the guitar itself is made of banana wood. I’ve seen several variants of the design each with a slightly different shaped unbranded headstock. Great fun guitar and weighs the same as a feather.
Amazeballs, thank you!
