That Pedal Show band with Andy Timmons - playing live at Fat Lil's 25.6.22

- Dan Steinhardt and Mick Taylor from That Pedal Show were joined by American guitarist Andy Timmons - for a night of electric guitars, tube amps, effects pedals and awesome live music.
Dan and Mick played an amazing set of classic covers, before Andy took to the stage and blew the room apart with a selection of his solo material.
Then D and M joined Andy for a three song classic rock encore.
I didn’t want to be holding a phone up all through the show, but I couldn’t help myself at various points - so sorry the footage is brief but the gig was amazing and I wanted to share.
Dan played his Matchless and his Lazy J - Mick played his Mesa from what I could see (his single cab wet/dry set up, I think.) The two Lonestar’s to the left of the drums were used by Andy.
Three massive pedal boards on stage (naturally) - plus the bass player had an impressive looking board and a bass cab the size of a refrigerator! I could clearly see Andy’s Halo on his board, and how he was adjusting parameters on the fly with a separate foot control.
Quite a few guitars used - the ones we see most often each week on the channel - Mick’s recently acquired Strat, his new 12 string semi, both Dans Tele’s and his Les Paul (SG) Junior, and a couple of Les Paul’s. Andy mostly played his signature Ibanez, but borrowed Red from Dan for a song, and borrowed Mick’s Strat also. Видеоклипы
Holy crap!….Great singing Mick
Who knew he sings real good wow !
Legitimately impressed with Mick’s singing. Soulful. Pub blues bands are a dime a dozen - even decent ones. What sets a band apart and makes them truly listenable, is a good vocalist. Bravo
Mick has some pipes!! And Dan with a Les Paul! The internet doesn't get any better than this!!
fair enough those were solid vocals, but the guitar playing was not impressive.
@@RobertSlover depends upon what impresses you…….. I found Dan very expressive in his playing. I don’t care how technical he was or wasn’t …..his playing moved me, which is all I want from a guitarist, or any musician for that matter. Each to their own
@@petergraham9267 mediocre guitar playing. playing live is where ones metal is tested.
@@RobertSlover Everyone is impressed by your wisdom.
@@RobertSlover Oh and it's mettle, btw.
This made me cry. Even though I’ve never met these guys, it’s like seeing close friends do something really cool and I’m so proud of them.
I couldn’t agree more. I’ve spent more time with Mick and Dan during the Covid Years than any of my own friends. I am so proud of them. I think these 3 men need to book some studio time. I’m ready for their first album. As Mick says, “happy days.”
Totally agree ...
Please stop cruyin...n begin .: singing! now theres a caress fo ya in it?
( Ive written a 100 songs with aNYLON, from jazz to bossasamba, due to left hand injury I still play ,
BUTT WITH GREAT mindul mindfullness, my E/Eb -tuned five Yamaha Pac 112Vs.....the whale octave downwads that is Mi tuniing..., JAZZy...😅😅😦😦🎩🎩🎸🎸🎸🎸
Ditto. and, what I would give to have the skill and opportunity to experience doing this. I know that they would say..... then do it mate. Inspiring!
Huh lol? They've both played many gigs before
oh snap Mick can sing and that strat sounds freakin gorgeous. AT is just being AT killing it. Dan smooth and rocking. love this!
Im not an emotional person at all, but Andy's playing really moves me. He puts so much emotion into his playing.
It’s easy to forget these guys don’t just talk about guitar and tone, they play too.❤️
Well Mick does
Timmons is never spoken of when people discuss great players (I’m guilty of that myself). He’s SO expressive. Incredible player
i dont think hes underrated i think hes just unknown to many. including myself. now i know him
Ridiculous.
I'm only just recently come across Andy - and wondering what cave I've been living in 😅😅. Phenomenal tone, choice of notes and technique. Plus listening to interviews he seems a really decent guy.
@@Steve-ih7dg hope it’s a man cave with good guitars, valve amp and beer fridge
Is it even humanly POSSIBLE to watch this and not smile? They are so obviously having so much fun it bubbles over. And toward the beginning of the video when the singing started I didn't even look toward Mick. I was sure it was somebody dedicated to just singing so I didn't have enough interest to look for em lol. I'm very surprised how well Mick and Dan can sing. And how their singing voices are, to me anyway, so unexpected
So nice to see KDB playing the guitar, he's not just a world class footballer, but an amazing guitarist as well
Who knew Mick could sing!!! Loved seeing the boys out of the studio - Dan looks like he's having so much fun that I was happy just watching him
Holy shit! Andy Timmons is way next level.
I didn’t know Mick was a great singer. Amazing songs and performances. Thanks for sharing. 🎸🎸🎸
Ah man you can just feel the joy.
Thanks so much for posting this Andy! Many TPS and Andy Timmons fans are very grateful!
Much respect. TPS walking the walk 🔥🎸
Thanks for sharing for those of us who couldn’t make it. I really appreciate it.
Andy is incredible...another level...
Andy Timmons- what a addition! Few around today can match his skill and taste.
Great seeing Dan with the Lester.
Mick can sing.....Well done lads. More please???
Lots of guitarists say “ I could shred but who wants to do that, I play with feel”, Andy is actually one of the few guitarists on this earth that CAN shred his balls off with the best of them but also can play with emotion.
I would say andy is up there with Shawn lane on the best guitarists ever
This is epic! Dan always puts a smile on my face, with the smile on his face. 😂😂😂
It doesn't get much cooler than to share the stage with one of the most amazing guitarists on the planet and call him a friend. Mick and Andy must be pinching themselves 😜 Fantastic stuff!
Absolutely beautiful. That’s what TPS is all about! Killer performance full of soul and big smiles that really put into context everything they talk about every week.
Good clean filthy distorted fun love it
Andy is pure gold💯✊🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥👌🏾👍🏾🤘🏾
I’ve had the great pleasure of both working with Andy and seeing him play live multiple times… every time I hear him play, I get shivers. It never gets old
Something very touching about these guys. Some great stuff to watch over and over and over!
Mick's got some pipes! I had no idea. Then they go and play Thin Lizzy, God bless 'em. So much fun! Great job boys!
No one was having a better time than Dan, and I live it.
Too cool. THANKS Andy !
Thank you so much for posting this! Looks like an awesome experience. I actually clapped at the end was so excited!
At 3:22 you mates locked in and it was over! You killed it! Dan when walked in close and took that second voice to what Mick was doing, you guys just flew at that moment. Well done and cheers
Andrew, Daniel and Michael...... you've all done very well. Thank you Mr Grace.
Just saw this…Mick, those pipes!! Awesome work.
🔥🙌👏Damn, I had no idea Mick can sing so well! You guys sound wonderful. Thanks so much for all the laughter, knowledge, and great music you share with us all.
It really is like seeing your family up there. An education at the very best..,

First time I've heard Mick sing, and I'm very impressed!
A.T. Is really something special
jesus andy is just killing it here
Cool! I never heard Mick sing; I'm impressed!
So much joy.
Impressive, the singing and the duo/trio guitarwork on "Boys are back in Town" (Thin Lizzy?). And also the cordial support of Mr. Timmons as outstanding guitarist doing such a great job as a simple sideman in this video. A professional : )
I haven’t watched TPS in a while but this was cool to see them kill it live. Good stuff. AT is a monster, of course, and seemingly the nicest guy ever.
Wow mick is a great singer!!
The 3 part in "The Boys are Back in town"... outstanding gentleman! I hope to have this much fun on stage once in my life.
I never heard mick sing and I can’t get rid of the chills and tears after hearing my hero’s on stage together. Much love! TPS 4 life ♥️
my gosh, Mick has the voice of an angel. LOL, I wasnt aware.
Ohhhh this was AWESOME. Sat here in Canada wishing I was in the UK for that night! Looked to be absolute, genuine FUN!
They are having way too much fun. Fabulous.
Practicing what they preach - preach on my brothas!
Mick can sing 🤯 …nicely done gentlemen!
Now that Mick has established his vocal prowess to the masses, it's time for TPS to check out guitar pedals for vocals - specifically the cusack music pedal cracker, which allows vocal effects loop out to guitar effects and can basically send vocal signals through your pedal chain and into your amp. I hate to share this secret weapon but I think this is a good place to request that.
This needs to go world wide TOUR. I THINK If you were able to add Chris Buck’s band to the mix this could take over the WORLD 🤩
Andy Timmons. Great, great, great. Thanks TPS
Just the usual story u know - two guitar mad mates jamming with Andy Timmons as you do😬! Great stuff - Mick can almost sing as good as he plays - impressed 👍🍀🤘Great vocals by Dan & playing of course. Fair play lads - awesome 👏
