- This is part one of a full video build of Tamiya 1/72 Mosquito, the Wooden Wonder.
I am building this for the #coastalcommand Group Build being run through British Aviation In Scale Facebook group. The kit is mainly built "out the box" but with the use of an Eduard mask and Zoom set.
The subject is aircraft flown by the RAF Coastal Command, from its inception in 1936 until its disbandment in 1969.

Thanks for taking the time and any comments you have... well you know what to do...
Tim, I'm glad you posted at this time on a Sunday afternoon as it's the perfect end to my afternoon. Just had a roast beef dinner with Yorkshire puddings and two bottles of speckled hen. I'm eyeing up a bottle of London Pride.
Excellent afternoon John... After all that lovely beer, I think my video will just about finish you off.. zzzzz
Great start! It's a good thing when a kit's fit is so spot on.....makes modeling even more enjoyable than usual. Will be checking out the next episode whenever that happens....soon I hope :-)
Coming up soon enough Rob.. 👍😎
Lovely work, Tim.
Ta mate... it’s a nice kit (again 😊)
Cracking skill mate👍 can’t wait to see it finished👍
Ta Otto 👍😎
you deserve a bunch more views here :) fantastic.. i made this model myself... only recently come back to the model making game, fallen in love with tamiya... lucky enough to live in japan, hobby shops here are dripping with all manner of tamiya accessories and such~ i've had a few hasegawa models and an 'academy' mustang... had trouble with both brands... but tamiya is always great :) i've got a giant revell 1.72 flying fortress (memphis belle) taxi'ing to the runway :P very excited about that~ you've given me lots of good pointers herein!
Fantastic stuff Richard! You live in Japan? I’ll get a shopping list together.. 😁 You just can’t beat Tamiya mate. Thank you for the kind comments
Outstanding Tim! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Bob...
Great job so far on a great kit, cheers :)
Cheers Deano 👍👍

Thanks Guy.. 😎😎
Nice looking kit
This one looks to be a great kit!
I was thinking about getting a Mosquito from Hasegawa... It should be on the same page with this one.
I’d be interested to see the difference myself Radu, if you want to send it over, I’d be happy to have a look 😁😁
Lovely kit, Tim! I was actually looking at getting one soon. Keep the content coming!
Will do Drew. It’s easily the one small scale Mossie I reckon...
great video i should get my mosquito out and do it ,but not right now John F has made my mouth quiver at the thought of his dinner ,dont get eat enough Yorkshire puds over here in Canada
Hahaha.. Mossie first, then beer, then worry about not enough Yorkies after that...
Looks like a great kit.
Same as the 48 scale version, if your familiar with that Henry.... just scaled down
@@TimsScaleModelling yes I really like that plane, and I'd like to get my hands on the 48 version.
It's very nice and politely work. Especially, cockpit work is excellent. I'm going to watch your another video.
