    ▬ About the Presenter▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
    Alyssa Wood is a Provisionally-Licensed Professional Counselor (P-LPC) working in private practice in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of South Alabama. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at The University of Mississippi and is an adjunct faculty member for The University of South Alabama Department of Psychology. She has worked in various counseling settings, including community mental health, partial hospitalization (PHP) for eating disorders, private practice, and a college counseling center. Alyssa has lived experience with disordered eating and a passion for helping others who struggle with self-esteem and the negative impacts of diet culture.
