Congratulations for the baby dear ..I have started my braid locs journey aswell for 7months now too but completely different from yours somehow each to our own … now all my braids was unraveled from the ends and someone ask me to just leave it alone even if it does.. so I have now no braid patterns in my hair and I retwist my mini braids total 185 with an amazing Gel and it hold amazingly . My locs already shrinking back the size I braid it now keeping my patience for the growth for really shrinking is real for the kind of our hair 😅 love your journey keep the set of locs this time ..
Thank you. I'm on my second loc journey after 8 years of traditional medium to large locs that touched my back...I did a big chop, cause I needed a new journey. I was thinking to do exactly what you did with start my micro locs off with braids and half way down twist them...because I really like the twist look, but knowing my hair it's so thick already and I need to braid it for it to hold. Anyways, thank you & congratulations on your pregnancy. You look beautiful! Peace and blessings to you always. 😊
🫢omg since last year!!! sorry love! Lol new year, new set 😅but once I’m done delivering my baby and recover for a bit I’ll make more update videos on my hair! And thanks so much♥️ I’ll definitely dona count video as soon as I’m back recording!😊
I was quoted almost $3000 for sister locs and my natural hair is only armpit length. So DIY it is. I don't want a crazy number, like 300+ because I need quicker reties or retwist
I wanna know if the braid Locs actually expand in size. I’m wondering if my current size is too large. I like the size they’re at now with the braids but i only have 40 and I want them to still be full and not super large
@@Academiacaramelcurlz Heey! To be honest i guess it might really depend on the persons hair! For me it did, but for others it might remain the same size as when it was braided
@@Academiacaramelcurlz yes🙂they’re different sizes but the ones that were braided bigger definitely expanded and I feel like the smaller ones stayed the same
@@DestinySunshine GOOD TO KNOW!! Thank you! I’ll be splitting mine in half and thirds. I do not want super big locs but I don’t want them tiny either. I can guesstimate how big they’ll be now.
Heey!! Since doing over my hair 5 times already, I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s really nothing you can do about the frizz and it’s literally just apart of the process ☺️ I’m almost a year in and still have been experiencing a tremendous amount of frizz and probably will for the next few years until my locs are more mature!
@@DestinySunshineyes sis! That's the answer! It will compact and stop frizzing. Yes, your soft hair will take longer to get there but it will and you will be coasting with a beautiful head of hair.
@DestinySunshine You're very welcome.🩷 I do have a question. If I decide to do braid locs, but I would like some color, should I do it before or after I start my journey?

I love the look of microlocs. But I worry about what happens after washing. Is it difficult to separate them?
@@rozchristopherson648 sorry what do you mean my separate them?
Like after washing or taking them out completely?
@@DestinySunshine After washing, to make sure they won't combine.

Your locs are looking really nice! ❤ and in regards to the growth, lol yup girl babies will do that to you!😅 and …Over $1000 for TWISTS!!!😮my goodness

It is very pricy. I lucked up with getting a lady to do it for 480.
Wow that’s amazing!!! Lol I wish!😭
