Hi I’m trying the scarf method for drying my hair but the ends are a little puffy any suggestions? I really hate the heat on my hair. Thank You sunshine for sharing your the best
Hi, I used your hair regimen for years with great results. I’m now natural. Do you have videos for a natural hair regimen? Or is there anyone you would recommend for a natural hair regimen, here, on RUclips?
Do you have to use a steamer or can you use a hooded dryer? Also, did you rinse it out first and then applied the herbal essences conditioner then rinse it again?
I was just wondering if it was different to use the leave in conditioner (argan oil mositure recovery) from the video or the leave in conditioner (argan oil buttermilk and sweet almond oil) from the description of what is used??
Hi I have a question. My hair is not to the point where I can air dry....it swells up. My hair neck length. What did you do during this stage of your hair growth? Also my nape is just not cute at all 👎🏾...broken off in certain places. How did you work to retain the length on this part of your hair at the beginning. So far I moisturize it day and night. I use castor oil only...not a water based product because it will shrival right up...lol😖. I stopped perming the area because of the breakage. I've got a few inches of new growth. I'm thinking of opting for a protective style to just let my hair do its thing...your thoughts are greatly appreciated 😍. So glad I found you🤩.
Por-tia Wilson trim or cut the damage. She let her hair grow to sl and started bunning to keep the ends of the hair protected. I would say you can lightly blow dry your hair on medium heat after shampooing, deep conditioning, and applying your leave ins. You may need to a protein treatment 1-2x a month. Follow her wash day videos. I have been following her since 2010, when she had her website. It’s all about techniques and using the right products for your hair. When I have breakage, I limit heat/chemicals, do both protein and moisture deep conditions, trim and let it grow. I used to have nape issues in 2009. I noticed with the perm my old stylist would wash out the relaxer properly, so I would have to insist that she wash that section again. You can also saturate the hair in neutralizer shampoo on wash day. Another tip is the first wash day after a relaxer, shampoo your hair with the neutralizer shampoo. It is a great way to make sure there aren’t any traces of the relaxer. Apply everything in sections, that way your hair isn’t being neglected
Just wondering, from what I can tell this particular cream of nature conditioner has been discontinued. It’s not on their site or any store or site I look into. What are you using on mid week wash days in its place? Or is it still being made and I’m looking in the wrong place..?? Thanks!!!
Hello ms. Hairlicious! I might be late lol, but what is the difference between this wash day routine vs the video entitled "my wash day routine| relaxed hair". Should we follow this one since it was posted more recently than the other wash day video? I followed the other one to a T (using the aphogee keratin as the first step) along with shampoo, then deep conditioning under a dryer. You forgo those steps in this video. Does the creme of nature mimic the aphogee keratin treatment? Is this a more updated routine to follow? Hope you see this and thanks again in advance.
Hi your videos are amazing! I was just wondering why do you wash your hair two times a week? A lot of the youtubers I’ve watched wash there once a week and alternate weekly with the protein and moisture treatments. I thought if I washed my hair more than once a week it would break or loose strength? Xx
Thank you. Washing your hair 2x/week will not break/weaken it. You really have to know and understand your hair. I deep condition twice a week to balance out my protein/moisture levels because I use a light protein weekly. I’ve recently changed my regimen slightly so I will be doing an updated video.

Wondering how many days you should wait to have a wash day post relaxer? Does it matter or is it too much stress on your hair to do it within a few days post relaxer?
Hello, I would like to follow your regimen but I don't have time to do my hair twice a week. U have your moisture routine on Thurs and your protein, moisture treatment on Sun. Can I just do moisture one week and protein moisture the next week. My hair seems to be shedding a lot and crunching when I comb it but only towards the ends of my hair. I think Im lacking moisture. Please advise
Yes. You can definitely alternate your moisture and protein every other week. Nothing wrong with that. If your hair feels crunchy chances are you are in need of moisture. Do a moisture deep condition and add some Castor oil (1tsp) for softening.
Hi, which type of satin scarfs do you use at night before bed. Coz upto now there still seems to be a controversy of which material is the real and right satin one to use.
Lol. I just use a satin scarf from my local beauty supply store. It’s labeled “Satin” so I’m assuming it is ☺️ Can’t complain because it’s been working for me.
@@HairliciousIncl got confused by people at some point because l have been using the one you used in this video to lay down your hairline for many years and it worked well for me as well, but people got me confused saying that it is not real satin. Hydrolyzed silk is a mild protein. Too, it also depends on where it falls in the ingredients. The higher it is in the ingredient list, the more potent it is.
Thanks so much!! I wouldn’t say that “natural hair isn’t for me”, I’m just enjoying my relaxed hair right now. It’s not to say that I won’t return to my natural hair in the future.

Love the scarf method! I am also 9 months postpartum and the shedding is ridiculous! Maybe a 1/2 inch to 1 inch trim might help me to...2 inches is waay to much for me lol
I'm struggling to find moisture only conditioners and leave in! Were the conditioners you used moisture only - no protein at all? And can you make some recommendations for other products one can try? From universal type brands like tresemme, garnier? Schwarzkopf ?
I hear you. The strictly moisture products that I have tried would be: herbal essences hello hydration, herbal essences long term relationship, Aussie moist, Aussie 3 min deep conditioner, keracare humecto, Mielle organics mongongo Oil protein free hydrating masque, creme of nature moisture extreme, tresemme moisture rich, Paul Mitchell the detangler/the conditioner, Camille rose algae renew deep conditioner, TGIN moisture rich deep conditioner etc. I hope that helps!!
You and your #hair are gorgeous! I'm all about jbco since using it my hair has done so much better! I always have a center part and it keeps that area full, so I'll be on that challenge too! TFS👍🏾
How do you get to have your relaxed hair look this good mine. After relaxing my hair it looks very lightweight don’t know what am doing wrong. I’m thinking of going natural. What do you think ??? I need help
It all has to do with your regimen. Are you stretching your relaxers? Are you only relaxing the new growth? How long do you keep your relaxers on? How often are you see conditioning? Are you using both moisture and protein treatments? Are you protecting your previous relaxed hair when you relax? You have to do an audit of your hair regimen and products to see what could be the issue and take steps to correct it.
My hair stays 6-8weeks before I relax because once the new growth comes out i can’t comb it at all n protein conditioning makes my hair dry n starts breaking off. The only thing that moisturizes my hair is when I deep condition with hair mayonnaise n some oils but after that it’s hard to maintain so I’m trying to figure out what will work for it n stop the shedding n breakage. Which makes my hair kind of on the same length for years now. That is making me think about going natural but I’m ton between getting it right or go natural.
Did you ever take Hairfinity or any other kind of hair vitamin to help strengthen your hair or grow? If so or not, can you please tell me your opinion on vitamins like those like if you think they actually work?
I’ve taken the GNC hair skin and nails vitamin (chewy type) and I didn’t notice much of a difference. I haven’t taken hairfinity before nor will I in the future. Just regular but quality multivitamins are perfectly okay.

Thanks hun!! #teamrelaxed 🙏🏾🙌🏾❤️
What about if my ends get crinkly and frizzy during air drying ? I add products and dry with a towel. I air dry for about and hour and then blow dry
You did a good job with your hair videos
I wanna follow your regimen but Thursday and Sunday are kinda close im going to try though
I want to continue with my relaxed hair but it’s expensive to always go to shop to get it relaxed do you relax your own hair or go to shop and can you do a video about it thanks
I relax at home with the help of my sister. Not sure if I would film it. I’m considering it though.

What's the difference between steam and dry heat? What if you don't have a steamer?
Hi new subbie here can you provide a link to where you purchased your exact steamer...Many thanks
Which relaxer do you use. Lovely hair u got!
Thank you. I use ORS olive oil relaxer.
After your hair is completely airdried, do you moisturize with your scurl the same day or the next day???
Wondering how many days you should wait to have a wash day post relaxer? Does it matter or is it too much stress on your hair to do it within a few days post relaxer?
I typically wait 3/4 days to wash again after a relaxer.
@@HairliciousInc I really liked this mix. Used it my first time post relaxer.
Debbie Debeaux so glad to hear!!
Yay new hair video
Renee Simpson thanks for watching!!
Ok, thank you
Hi, where do you buy the Creme of Nature Moisture Extreme Conditioner ? I live in Canada as well, and I can't find the product anywhere. Thank you
I get it at my beauty supply store. Where in Canada are you?
Does one have to use two conditioners to cowash?
Nope. You can use just one and you’ll be good to go!!
Doing this routine today !
I'll concentrate on what works for me more. Thank you for your advice as well.☺️
😁 great video . Its been on my mind to ask you about your mid-week wash and how it goes.. Thank you.. I completely understand the postpartum shedding my son is 16 months and my hair thin out so badly I cut a good 2 to 3in off. Did you change your sealant oil for good? are you going back to Jojoba oil ? Thank you once again for the video . Much love. 🇬🇾
Thanks for watching hun. I can totally relate. Postpartum shedding is no joke!! I haven’t changed my sealant oil. I still love Jojoba oil. Just couldn’t find it at the time😂😫 I miss Guyana!!
I am protein sensitive. Is silk protein one I should stay away from aka silk elements
Hydrolyzed silk is a mild protein. Too, it also depends on where it falls in the ingredients. The higher it is in the ingredient list, the more potent it is.
Hey I'm a subbie!! Great vlog.. Question how did you know natural wasn't for you??
Thanks so much!! I wouldn’t say that “natural hair isn’t for me”, I’m just enjoying my relaxed hair right now. It’s not to say that I won’t return to my natural hair in the future.
Is there anything I can do to substitute the steamer if I don’t have one?
You can use an electrical heating cap from Sally Beauty or going under a hooded dryer is perfectly fine too!
Great video
Where is your steamer from?? The ones on amazon break easily and the huetiful isn’t available anymore
I got my steamer from my hubby as a gift. He bought it locally though. But I’ve seen it online. I’ve edited the description box to include my blog post link detailing the model number of the steamer to better assist you finding it online. Hope that helps.
do you use shampoo? or just the conditioners?
I use shampoo once a week.
Hello, where can we purchase the creme of nature moisture conditioner from or could you provide a link? Thanks
I bought it at my local beauty supply store. I’m certain they have it on amazon. I’ll try to link it.
Ok, thank you
Oh my gosh, you hair is gorgeous!
Aww so sweet of you to say. Thank you.
Do you have low or high porosity hair?
Love the scarf method! I am also 9 months postpartum and the shedding is ridiculous! Maybe a 1/2 inch to 1 inch trim might help me to...2 inches is waay to much for me lol
Yes, the trim definitely helped!!!
Oh thank you so much!! Yes it absolutely does!! I'll look out for those! I'm thinking of trying the scurl moisturiser as well 😎
@@HairliciousInc thanks for naming them
I get so much probs to stretch my relaxer my new growth is so coarse and difficult to even part tru
I can’t substitute a bonnet dryer for a steamer can I?
They are both a heat source so it’s fine. One is dry heat and the other is moist heat.
Thanks for sharing! God bless and Jesus loves you!
You and your #hair are gorgeous! I'm all about jbco since using it my hair has done so much better! I always have a center part and it keeps that area full, so I'll be on that challenge too! TFS👍🏾
Thanks for watching!! Yes, join the challenge with us. All of the details are on my blog HairliciousInc.com and on my IG profile.
Hairlicious Inc. Thank you so much for the reply. You and your hair are gorgeous!!!! I just started following your regimen and it works wonders for my hair. You are a real inspiration to the relaxed community
Wow!! Thanks so much for the compliment and love!!
can you explain step 3 for me
Hello, hello I need help and I need it fast.my hair does not love nothing in protein.veer very stiff and dry.relaxed hair.plesaes help with something that is moisture. Nothing seems to work.what else can I do different.
Are you following your protein with a moisturizer or deep conditioner with moisture in it? You need a balance of the two. I know the aphogee protein treatment also has a balancing moisturizer to follow up with...
this was so helpful. I love your videos they have been so helpful in my journey. my hair finally grew to below BSL
I cant wait to use the Olplex and plex breakage defense my next relaxer. I am 6 weeks post and I have 6 more weeks to go.Thanks again.
doing my first co- wash today !!! yeah
Yay!!!
What would anyone suggest for Coconut Oil? My skin && scalp can’t handle it .. I break out so badly from it
Olive oil
Do you worry about putting conditioning products or protein products on dirty hair? Do you ever wash or rinse first?
Yes yes yes 😍😍
Thanks for watching
Hairlicious Inc. Np always loved your channel
What relaxer do you use & how often? Your hair is beautiful!
Thanks so much!! I use the ORS Olive Oil relaxer. I have a Q & A video on my channel where I discuss how often and relax, what I use etc.
Where do you get your conditioner from? I can’t find them anywhere
I got the creme of nature moisture extreme from my local beauty supply store and the herbal essences hello hydration is from Walmart.
i do not have a steamer....how else can i "steam" my hair
A heat cap or hooded dryer is perfect.
Tried jbco 6x & its a no go for me 😞. Startn over.
Ahhh sorry to hear!! Have you tried mixing it with another oil? I know many don’t like it because it’s thick.
Hairlicious Inc.
I reallllly liked the thickness. I put some on my strands & i shed. I'll keep using wgho. Ill have to go to Sallys to find Mirelle & look at the ingredients.
My hair is dropping plenty but the roots are healthy.
