    I am so grateful that you didn't give up back in the days when you were still struggling with getting your business startet but kept learning and doing things until you figured it out! Thank you for having gone through all that and now sharing this with us, you make a real difference in my life.

    What nice breeze of fresh air, I mean it's nice as 33 years old guy like me who went back to school since 2015 and is graduating this year in a master's degree in marketing and digital strategy to see some valuable content given in a humble way and not with stardust and flashy manners. It's true, it's horrible this massive growing BS webmarketing era with phoney and flashy infopreneurs/coaches. Thanks Miles for your valuable and proven recommandations.

    I'm fairly sure that Pablo Picasso once said, "Good artists create, great artists steal" and I think it's so rad you're giving us examples because I believe these strategies and "triggers" are very universal but it's hard to see how to apply them unless there's something like this put together. • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 лет назад +1

      first off, thank you… And my channel is monetized I just don't run ads! There is a reason why I'm not running ads and that is because there are many unscrupulous advertisers trying to sell you shady courses, systems, scams. I value your attention too much to exchange a few pennies for promoting a scam

      Yea, they don't like personally identifying comments or 'personal attributes' as they call them... So 'Lose your belly fat' is out but 'get fit for summer' could work.
      It is part art and requires creating and adaptive thinking to figure out a way to communicate what you want to communicate in a way that works with their rules (which are all here if you haven't seen them: facebook.com/policies/ads/)
      The good news is that all of your competition is held to the same standard.
      Be sure to browse through other ads in your nice to see the creative wording they've used... This video shows how to find those ads: ruclips.net/video/or7HZaMyt_c/видео.html

    Thanks again for all this awesome value! How to you actually move the 'more' button in your text? Because in these ads they seem to have been put in the location the advertiser wanted them and I seem to only be getting a standard placing. Thanks man, keep crushing it!

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад +1

      Honestly, it just takes fiddling with it to get the more link to appear where you want. Facebook is notorious for changing the rules constantly so it may be a situation where they use to allow X number of characters before the read more link and now they only allow Y number of characters.
      I'm confident that in these examples the advertisers spent a significant amount of time choosing their wording and testing different layouts to get it exactly as they wanted before launching.

    • @woezzelboefje
      @woezzelboefje 7 лет назад +1

      Haha alright! Indeed, with just a little bit of fiddling I got it sort of where I wanted it! Thanks!

    Hi Miles, thank u for your valuable information in your channel. I want to run a Facebook campaign for a wedding reception band. I'm wondering which objective to choose- leads or conversions. My target audience, of course, is the ones whose statues is engaged and their 'interests' are related to the areas surrounding marriage
    The difference is that in the conversions option they will click on the button and get to my band site which has a 'Contact Us' box at the end of each relatively short page, or 'leads' where a Facebook form will be filled without going out of Facebook. From your experience what would you recommend? of course, i'll do a split test as well.

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад +1

      Can I ask why you're not focusing on Google local SEO? seems like the odds of finding someone who's ready to get married and interested in a wedding band through Facebook ads would take an intense amount of advertising to find that one potential person.
      But people searching for Google for a wedding band in a specific location have already proven that they want the services you provide so all you need to do is show up on Google.

      I have discovered this tool called "AdParlor Mockup Generator". When you search, it will be on the top list. It lets you see what it will look like if you place all of the materials you are going to create, whether on carousel, photo or video ad. Even viewing using your phone, desktop or tablet. You can see all of that.

    • @thetallentrepreneur4469
      @thetallentrepreneur4469 6 лет назад

      Hi there, the see more button varies depending on the placement of the creative ex: mobile newsfeed, desktop newsfeed... as well as the dimensions of the creative. If you want to see where the see more line with show, you can go in the "creative" section and test it out before hand :) .

      Miles is fucking awesome his content is crazy good!!
      If you listen carefully he never said he wasn't smart, he's clearly trying to warn you of listening to people who just show money and cars to pray on people who just see things on an external level and desperation.
      Tai is a very clever dude and gives good value around certain subjects, but you will never get the quality the way miles openly shows his business, people like miles should be respected for the content that's given for FREE :)

    Hi Miles, love your content - wondering if you can help me with a question. When you have an adset and you have followed the conversion optimisation path fully with that ad set (link clicks > view content > add to cart > initiate checkout > add payment info > purchase) - if I then duplicate to show it to a different audience, do I need to start from link click optimisation again?

    Miles, loved this video. You should do this more often. Maybe even offer other your audience to submit their ads so you can critique and give advice 😌
    I have clickfunnels now and I love it, but I want to make the transition from my funnel to my WP membership site for fluid and easier to make that transition while minimizing loss.
    What are your thoughts on Elementor plug in within WP. Do you have any experience with it?

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад

      I've never used the elementor or plug-in, so I'm not really able to comment there...
      Trying to find a way to get click funnels to integrate with WordPress was a total challenge for me also... I ended up just going all word press because I couldn't figure it out.
      My friend Dave runs www.integratePro.com and if there's anyone who can figure out how to get those working together it is him.
      He is at a conference in Australia right now so if you reach out he might be a little slower than normal to respond, but be sure to let him know Miles sent you if you do reach out

    Thank you so much for these videos. I'm going through absorbing as much info as I can.
    Just a quick question, say you are running some split test ads at $5 each, and you're narrowing down on a great performing ad, how do you decide "okay this is working, now I'm going to increase the ad budget and start generating sales with this ad set".
    Thanks again, Miles.

    I love your vids Miles! I have a question.
    how to make an ad like this format?
    campaign is engagement..
    3 adsets..
    (3 ad copy (video) in each adsets)
    I can't set it up. only in photos up to 6 photos without additional charges.
    Do you have an idea Miles?

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  6 лет назад

      I'm not sure what you're trying to do…I really run video ads or multiple ads under each ad set. I run multiple ad sets all pointing to one image ad and that's all

    Hi Miles, these Power Editor trainings are sooo helpful! Thank you! Question: my copy ad in PE ran out of the offer, can I change the offer so more prospects can take advantage of the special discount? I tried to edit the ad, but I couldnt change that area. should I copy the Ad again, then increase the offer for more prospects to get the offer? Also, does the original Ad have to run with the copy ad? Thank you, Terry.

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад +1

      Unfortunately, I'm really not following you here.... Sounds like you need to create a new ad because special time specific discount is no longer available? then yes.... Create a new ad and delete the old one if it's no longer relevant!

    • @keepitsimple5744
      @keepitsimple5744 7 лет назад +1

      Yes. The offer was taken by the small number I allowed and so the ad is still running with the offer no longer available. (embarrassing). So I will stop the ad and start another one. thank you, Terry

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад

      Try to use wording and offers that allow you to run your ads Evergreen whenever you can.... "Limited Time" instead of "Ends May 5th", etc.
      When you find something that works you want to keep that ad running as long as you possibly can! But it sounds like that's making sense to now... Best of luck!

    Hi Miles,
    Thanks for your tutorials! I learned a lot from you!
    Just one question, if running e-commerce ads, should I create different campaigns for different products? If I put different products ads under same campaign, will they compete with each other?

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад

      I don't have a definitive answer in the honest answer is to test both and see which works best for you.
      I think it really depends on what you're selling and how similar or different the items are in the audiences are for those items.
      Like, if you a pet supply store I could see having a campaign for dogs and a campaign for cats with different ad sets in each focused on different interests.
      Even just writing that out makes me feel like I'd start in that direction, but this is just a gut instinct and testing will allow the data to show you which is best

      Hi Miles,
      Thanks for your reply. I am now running a campaign, the ad set for age target is from 18 - 64+; after running 2 days, it shows the 18 - 24 performs the best. Should I change the current running ad set to narrow only to 18 -24? What should I do next?

    • @MilesB
      @MilesB  7 лет назад

      +Sheila Rothwell are you basing the 'performs best' based on sales data? What have you spent and how much have you made? Are you break even or better with everyone running? FB can often take 3 or 4 days to really get you the best traffic, so it can pay to be patient

    Great video. Miles, I heard that Facebook doesn't like you to have two ,or more , FB profiles (i.e: private and business) And they will shut down the business one. Is that true?If that the case, is it possible to not let friends/family in your profile know that you are running a business ,by blocking them? (If using business profile within private profile)
