i honestly have to wonder how they decide these shinies. Is it like a bad to good ratio quota or is there some sort of rules they have to follow? Cuz in the past gen games its basically proven that shinies were literal pallet swaps because of the limited graphics which is why some look better than others (and why 90% of the water shinies are purple). But now theres literally no reason for why they look the way they do it baffles me. keep in mind they gave charizard special treatment with the black instead of purple so there's def some shiny conspiracy going on.
The moment you realise that you went past a shiny, because it looked the same as the non shiny 🤦♀️ I thought it was a slightly different colour because the weather changed in the game 😂
Not the biggest fan of gen 9s overall shiny quality but I have to say rellor’s shiny being (almost) the exact same beetle but instead of having a ball of dung it has a ball of gold is absolutely the funniest shiny in the series. Literally a speck of gold buried in an ocean of shit.

Currently got two shinies in the game, Gogoat and Othorworm.
One before the end of the game and one post game while I was dex completing.
i honestly have to wonder how they decide these shinies.
Apparently I hear that in the let's go feature your pokemon in that mode won't kill shinies
The moment you realise that you went past a shiny, because it looked the same as the non shiny 🤦♀️ I thought it was a slightly different colour because the weather changed in the game 😂
Is rellor the first time the texture of a Pokémon is changed in its shiny? You can’t see the stripes on it’s dung ball anymore
Hey Patterz, the colors of Shiny Lokix are a reference to Kamen Rider 01
I found a shiny cufant in Pokémon violet
I actually like the chrome for most of the future mons. Except hydreigon. It just doesn't work.
My first shiny was the one at 2:06 also this was at the start of my playthrough
I thought quaxly was the best starter. Until he evolved....
Wugtrio - Scarlet
Shiny Wugtrio - Violet
Quaxly's final evolution's shiny colors are the men love men pride flag colors.
I love the chrome honestly.
The ceruledge is bothering me the most
I like Shiny Grass Cat way better than original Grass Cat, I adore green and purple together, and I can't wait to breed my shiny Grass Cat (despite everyone hating Grass Cat for being weak I've used mine the entire time and he crits out the wazoo and blows everything up even when they are super effective against him, never going to box my magic cat lmao!)
Eye of the beholder and what not, you give an F to likely my favorite shiny because I like the purple over the like rose red tinted pink so much more.
So wait, if you try to auto battle a shiny that's say level 6 with your level 100 Mon it will actually do the sweat thing and not attack it? I thought it was just because of a bad type match that would have happened even if it wasn't shiny? This is likely well known and a derp question but I don't get out much so I honestly don't know and someone setting me straight would help me tons. I have yet to see a shiny because I'm so scared of autobattling one out of existence before I realize it's a shiny.
stop insulting da duck
damn SV really missed with a lot of their shinies
Lucky you, I’ve never found a single shiny *ever* in any game. I am the unluckiest person ever in that respect.
I hate how so many shinies this gen don’t change every colour
Nearly every shiny previously changed the whole body
Shiny Flutter Mane reminds me of Xatu, I like it
They changed the future paradox shines
Nvm lol
They didn't make any difference for the golden mon because it is unobtainable
I actually really like shiny clodsire
Yeah, its a VERY nice purple, i dont know why pat hate it so mutch
@@paulovitorsouzanunes4854 cause he hasnt got any taste when it comes to shinies
That aint no volcarona in the games XD apperently that version is called slither wing
Gimmighoul is shiny locked.
I caught 3 shinies within 3 days of them coming out
Your Pokémon will not auto battle shinies
Me who got a shiny pawmi before the first gym:
Whoever made the shinies and approved them should be fired.
I found a rockruff. That was cool.
I love a lot of the new pokemon this generation but the vast majority of their shinies are absolutely atrocious
*minority
8:21 they did changed that but... look same there are bit a too light look at eyes and sharpie.
idk what ur on but miraidon and koraidon are both amazing
I feel like no one remembers that these games were rushed and that legends arceus had some of the best shinies like hisuian zorua and since they rushed sv they didn't have time to create many differences. If this game was delayed a year or half a year all of these shinies would look infinitely better
How much time do you need to make color differences tho?
@@Kyle-zz6mx It' not just about colour dofferences otherwise they'd just use the same ai as gen 2 to gen 5. What they have to do is make a shiny and if it's bad well that sucks but they have to keep making more
most of the shinies arre great. theres only a small number that are bad. according to patterz but everyone has their own tastes
At this point Pokémon shinies should all just be palette swaps
You should try to redesign some of these new Pokemon shinies
Gimeghoul and goldengo don’t have shiny forms yet!
Me and my random shiny Polteageist that I found while trying to get a Ceruledge
Watching makes me realise that I failed a shiny wugtrio
How? There is a major difference
1:17 What...did...you...just...say????????!!!!!!!!!!
Not a sash it’s a mastodon the saber teeth are a litteral sword.
Man I can’t remember who it was but I had a Pokémon in let’s go mode and it wouldn’t kill this one Pokémon and looking back on it I think it was a shiny I completely disregarded, I know Pokémon refuse to kill shinies, it just looked the exact same to me so I didn’t think anything of it and was just like “huh that’s weird”, I’m hoping there’s something that happened and it wasn’t cause it was a shiny :,-).
I accidentally got a shiny in Pokémon scarlet
Can people stop hating on the future Paradox form Pokemon
