Notice how no other description in the top 15 includes talk about the QB except GB. They are still in shock that Love is the next franchise QB who has yearly pro bowl potential. A true WR1 argument only matters in fantasy football. Whoever is open...throw them the ball. The Packers have A LOT of players open.
Couldn't agree with ya more. I think any defensive coach would rather face a true number one than a whole squad of them.
A lot of people planted their flag in predicting Love to be a bust and for the Packers to hit dark times. Instead of just admitting they're wrong, they're holding onto hope that it will still fall apart just so they can say they were right. People have an obsessive need to be right.
Agreed. It doesn’t matter, Love will carve out defenses and find the open man. Screw the rankings
If they don't know who to cover when , how is that a bad thing
@@JosephDaleiden-mr8qu it’s not a bad thing. GPG
How many times do we have to teach the league this lesson.
It literally will never end until we win the superbowl
WE WINNING THE SUPERBOWL THIS YEAR LETS GOO PACKERS 🟢🟡🟢🟡🟢🟡🟢🟡🟢🟡@@maxjaeger40
They'll never learn.
The Bears for one will never learn. They still suck!
@@Davini994 Forever and always.
I still think people are sleeping on Doubs. Even packers fans. I hear other names but nobody talks about him. He gets open a lot, he breaks ankles a lot, he makes contested catches a lot. I still think he is our best overall reciever
Ive been preaching this
@celestialprophet2013 yeah, like why all of a sudden packers fans just gloss over him like he hasn't been our most clutch receiver for 2 years. Even our own DBs say he cooks them in practice. He been cooking number 1 corners and nobody bats an eye
@simonevans5562 Literally bros the most reliable always there when you need him has great hands and can catch almost anything. Plus he and Jordan seem to have the best connection.
I really couldn't care less what PFF, or anyone else, thinks of the Packers receiving corps at this point. I have a pretty good idea about what they will be thinking at the end of the season.

@@metalfingers7453😂😅😂😅🎉❤…Abraham Lincoln commented, “Success is the BEST revenge!”
With Green Bay finishing in the league’s top half is high praise for a young, talented pass-catchers who expect to be even better in 2024. Last season, the team relied heavily on 1st-and-2nd year players to carry the offensive load, especially at the skill positions. While Christian Watson battled injuries, Romeo Doubs took a much larger role, logging the most offensive snaps out of players who weren’t an offensive lineman or named Jordan Love. The team’s decision to build a younger roster also led to more opportunities for Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft, all rookies from last season. Jayden Reed led our Packers in receptions, yards, and tied for the team lead in receiving touchdowns. His 64 receptions also set a new franchise record for catches by a rookie, surpassing Sterling Sharpe’s total when he caught 55 passes in 1988. Meanwhile, Dontayvion Wicks finished 3rd on the team in yards, showing off his skillful route running and reliable hands as the year progressed. Tight ends typically face a steep learning curve when transitioning to the NFL, but Luke Musgrave was an exception. He became an immediate contributor, emerging into a dynamic target for Jordan Love until a lacerated kidney sidelined him for 6 games. Luke Musgrave did return for the season finale and the team’s playoff run and is set to be a prime breakout candidate for the 2024 NFL season. After a rough start to his NFL career, Tucker Kraft showed that he was a worthy fill-in during Luke Musgrave’s absence, flashing his run-after-catch ability and improved run-blocking. Tucker Kraft also expects to have a prominent role in Matt Lafluer’s offense. Despite their success last season, Green Bay still has a lot to prove compared to their division rivals. 14th isn’t bad, but it is last in the NFC North behind the Detroit Lions at #7, the Minnesota Vikings at #6, and the Chicago Bears at #4. Chicago reloaded on offense this season, pairing receivers Keenan Allen and rookie Rome Odunze with DJ Moore. They also added running back D’Andre Swift and tight end Gerald Everett and will return Cole Kmet, providing a strong arsenal for 1st-overall 2024 NFL draft pick Caleb Williams. Meanwhile, Minnesota and Detroit are bolstered by the 2 best receivers in the league in Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra. St Brown. Not to mention, TJ Hockenson and Sam LaPorta are the 2 best tight ends in the NFL. Regardless of their ranking, Green Bay has to feel optimistic about their pass-catchers heading into this 2024-25 NFL season. But whether this group can emerge as one of the league’s top receiving corps will depend on their ability to stay healthy, build off last season, and continue their individual development. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
Really well written are you a Journalist?
St Brown is not one of the top 2 WRs in the league, not by a long shot. Jefferson I would agree with though. The Packers I think across the board with receivers are ass good as anyone, but they do have to prove it now, and do it for a whole season.
The Packers as a whole might be one of the best, we have 6-7 WR's who could have been 2-4s on any other team, not having a true #1 is better IMO, It keeps the QB from focusing on 1 guy, which also keeps the opposing D's honest, I hope they all improve.
Give us that extra motivation!!
Rank them last in everything! They play great as underdogs.
I'd rather keep the Packers' top six WRs over the WR room of any other NFL team!
So true
They are gonna f around and find out this season. I like us flying under the radar. And just think, Love didnt even kick it into gear until the last 2 months
We have an unselfish receiving Corp. Currently no big heads. They all are excited for each other. Giving Jordan the opportunity to spread the ball wherever and whenever he wants. He can feed the hot hand or best match up. As long as they keep a team mentality they will all be successful. Along with them striving to be the best they can be.
The drop off from Amon-Ra to Jameson Williams is insane that I’m shocked the Lions are even up so high if we’re basing this just off WR rooms cuz it’s just Amon-Ra followed by what looks like a bust. To put into perspective Bo Melton’s stats while also playing limited games was nearly identical to Jameson and I’d argue Bo Meltons limited games offered more than Jameson. I guess the Lions having two good backs and a up in coming elite TE goes a long way in ranking.
PFF rates consistency, The Packers feature the guy with best matchup which changes week to week and lowers the rating of the guy not featured that week
At this point, I fully expect PFF to underrate the Packers in every way possible. Dont pay em no mind.
At 1:11 when you say Packers don't have a duo. I think Doubs & Reed could be that duo.
Always better to under-promise and over-deliver than the opposite. This is bulletin board stuff you can use to motivate people.
Hell ya bas we gunna prove them all wrong! Keep up the awesome videos you are awesome
Lots of the teams above the packers are gonna have injuries that knock them down on this list later in the year. Even if the packers have significant wr injuries, they’re gonna be solid
Not to jazz up the bears or anything but I think Rome will be a monster loved watching that guy in college and it pains me to see him at the bears
Honestly it's about where I would expect them to be ranked. But this year we can show this is a top 5 group.
All things considered... I wouldn't trade our group for anyones.
Jay reed is a beast. Wicks has the sharpest routes in the league. He’s very shifty. Romeo Doubs has magnets in his hands and was getting open on nasty routes late in the year. Don’t even get me started on our TE’s. Just wish Watson stays healthy.
#1 WR by committee
Remember top 10 pick wr the bears got that was hyped too? Kevin white
Not speaking as a fan, The Green Bay Packers have the most talent at pass catching. Speaking as a Fan, we have the most talent at pass catching.
😂😅😂😅…like that!
I would have the Vikings over the Bears. I would have Seahawk higher on the list over some of the other teams they mention above them. I think I would have the Packers a tad higher on the list but I also think they have a lot left to prove yet.
14 does seem low to me too. Here's the counterargument though. We project as really good and deep. We have to prove it again. A different question that we might rank better in is whose receiving group would you rather have?
Not really concerned. We know what we have. All that matters.
I like that they are underrated. That is the fuel they need.
Sounds right for 9 and 8 team.
I'm with you 100%
Most of them spent stints on the pine. They need that break out year and spend most of the year healthy. None of the numbers are eye popping. I'm hoping they show that high flying potential! this year
Surely better to have a bunch of options that the QB can throw the ball to, than just an amazing no. 1 WR and not much depth below that? We all saw how badly the Cowboys struggled when CeeDee Lamb had a bad game. Also injuries are much less of a problem if you have 5 or 6 guys who are interchangeable in WR positions.
Thing that sucks, is in 2yrs, this GB squad will look a lot different.
Dollar for dollar we’d probably be number 1 but I’m okay with the range we’re in there’s definitely teams that are loaded at the top though we can stretch a little deeper in the WR core
PFF did not take into consideration the concept of depth. Many of their top 10-12 teams had one or two good players and that was it. The Packers have depth. They should have been ranked higher.
Keep sleeping on them - prefer it that way honestly. We'll just show them every single year if we have to.
Wicks is going to blow up this season
14 is plain disrespectful
That’s ok. Let them keep sleeping on the Packers. Less pressure
It’s because the NFL is officially scared of the only team without an owner. They hate the idea of the of the pack having the fastest rebuild ever.
I don’t still feel like fans are still half asleep on Romeo. The tone is weak
Because they have big names WRs we don’t we have underrated we always been underrated
Dillon had 200 receiving
I would rather be under the radar and have a chip on my shoulders. The ranks don't matter but the heart of a player does.
I don’t mind us being that low, just another year where they’re underrated and we prove them wrong again like we do every year
rather be underrated than overrated
Packers for sure should be top 10.
Jayden Reed: Targeted 16% of snaps
Romeo Doubs: Targeted 11% of snaps
Christian Watson: Targeted 12% of snaps
Dontayvion Wicks: Targeted 13% of Snaps
Bo Melton: Targeted 17% of his snaps
Malik Heath: Targeted 9% of his snaps
That’s 5 receivers that are targeted over 10% of their snaps (Only including players with 100+ snaps)
The Seahawks only had 3 recievers with that
I rest my case
Don't rest too long. Watson was injured. He's not injured now.
THE STATE OF TENNESSEE DIDNT DESERVE THAT!!! 😂😂😂😂
I love the underdog roll ... please keep up the hate and down talk. We need the hate.
How tf are the bears up there at 4? If we’re going by potential there would be several teams above them.
Ask Dallas fans where we should be ranked 😎
Let the league believe their analysis! Who cares? But, we must elevate our play across the board, too, or else our smug support withers like a fart in the wind! We must address every aspect of team play in all three phases but that goes for all 32 teams, right? Hope springs eternal that every veteran on ea team improves but I believe it’s naive for us to project that every player on the Packer’s will have a better season than last yr! Some players likely will disappoint us.😮
GO pack GOOOOO
Let them doubt us.
Feels bad to be the acknowledged worse receiving group in the division, man.
WE ARE GONNA WAKE THEM UP WE GOT DAWGS ON THIS WR GROUP💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛
This is easy. What group would you pick to start a franchise, and I'm telling you I'd take packers in top 6, maybe number 5.
Top 3 in the league
who cares what pff & espn say!!!!!!! don't need a # 1 guy. 2 terrific tight ends. 6 wides that would start on a lot of other teams.
The Bo Melton love baffles me... He wasn't good enough to make the main roster for Seattle and cause he had a few good games he's not thought as a top guy and would start on any other team. It's just home team bias...
This packers wr room is young, underdeveloped and unproven. The wr room is great together but aren’t as good on their own. It’s not surprising that they are ranked lower than you think. Let’s not act like before last season there were so many fans including packers fans who thought this wr core was good. So many people thought it would be garbage, so we shouldn’t be surprised that they are low
The packers disrespect is crazy but a super bowl will shut everyone up.
You feel Lions are better? St Brown is only proven receiver, good tight end, good running back. That’s it unless I’m forgetting someone.
Let’s just wait to see what happens in the season. These rankings mean nothing but click bait. The truth is injuries are part of the game and anything can happen, so at the end of the year see who did better. I would like coverage on the gloves and new helmets…jk
Lions, as a whole group are pretty good. They got Gibbs and LaPorta. But really, they only have 1 good slot receiver and the rest are trash. I think they have the worst recieving core in the NFC north
PFF knows they have to upset packer nation for clicks
Sorry my guy, but if you don't have true #1 star WR's you will NOT be considered to have an ELITE WR core. I understand you point, we have depth, and I bed next year we will be listed much higher. But the truth of the matter is, none of our WR are proven. They are young, none of them have had 1000+ yards in a year. I like that about our group, we move the ball around. But typical teams boast a #1 WR to be a "go to guy." We clearly do not have one (right now). I think 14 makes sense. But we still gonna cook people this year :)
Saying Bo melton a number 2 receiver is far fetched
He absolutely has the skills to be. He was Andy Herman's 2nd highest graded player on the entire team last year. Admittely with a smaller sample size but still impressive. Has great speed, can stop on a dime, used to be a running back so he has yac ability, and he even blocks.
@@williamhermann6635when he was saying number 2 receiver I think he meant to say wicks
Jameson Williams has been terrible but people are still looking at draft position as him. High side he has been a worse MVS
PFF are bums! Numbers are great but do they pass the eye test and common sense? Not in a lot of cases, including this. But I agree, I like being underrated. Less pressure on the team.
Love your optimism but until they can reproduce the output they put out in the last 8 games consistently they always be ranked lower then us fans would like. We see the potiential, the people that make these list dont care about potential, they care about production and lets be honest they really only produced for the last 8 games
Thank you for a realistic view on this. Too many homers in here
Facts, people forget that so many fans including packers fans were screaming about how trash this wr room was before this year and now so many switched up and want them to be ranked higher.
Yeah I don't get the Tennessee ranking but Packers aren't top 10. Gotta take off the Packers goggles and realize they do have a lot of unproven guys, can Watson stay healthy and get better is Romeo better than just a solid 2 are Jaden and Tay gonna take the next step, we think so but we don't 100% know. That being said I don't think there is a WR room in the NFL with more upside than the Packers and by the end of the season they will LIKELY be top 10
Even if Reed and Wicks don't take a step up. They would still get great numbers. It's still really about the o line and J Love. There are not many drops from either of them. And they both got really open. If Doubs and Watson both got injured. This room would still eat. Melton would step in with blazing speed, and I know Heath can't wait to show what's good if he has to replace Doubs. Deep too deep. The only one who needs to progress is J Love, in all honesty. If Love levels up, and then the defense plays to its draft stock. SB go pack go
@@davidbrown7357 I think Love helped elevate these guys and I am hyped to see them play I love Tay Wicks and at one point last year it became hard to keep him off the field and Reed was dynamic last year and will likely be this year but again I think the reason they are ranked where they are ranked is because there still isn't that 100% guarantee guy that they KNOW is gonna be great, they just have a lot of guys with the potential to be great
Watson, when healthy is a true #1. In fact he is top 5 in the league. Oh, and he is totally healthy now
Top 5??? Nobody's taking Watson over JJ, Cheetah, Chase, Ceedee, AJ Brown, Davante, Waddle, Kupp, DK, Amon-Ra, etc.
@@whenthemaskfalls8591 That is because he has been hurt so much. He is as good as any of them and better than most that you have mentioned. Wait and see, now that he is healthy and does not have to worry about his hamstrings. He is faster and larger and a better open field runner than most of them and none of the receivers you have mentioned have the complete physical package that he has. The fact is that he is unique since Megatron and Randy Moss were in their prime
receiver too low just like team ranking looks not expecting much which I totally disagree
PFF is just a tool. Their rankings don't determine what actually happens.
Go Pack Go (Underdogs)!!!
crazy prediction packers have 4 1000 yard receivers this year stretch I know but it would be wild
When Jordan Love leads this team to a 13 win season on his way to the super bowl.
Where he will bring the Lombardi trophy home as the league MVP.
The WR core will have at least 3 WRs 1000+ this season.
After New Orleans in February this team will get the recognition it truly deserves.
Cooper will win rookie of the year this season as well with a top 10 D & top 5 secondary!
Go Pack Go!
Caring what ESPN thinks about anything sports related in the last 5-7 years or more isn’t worth anyone’s time. Their coverage and analysis is politically driven by DEI hired plants lacking any merit whatsoever. This whole we don’t have a number 1 receiver is so shortsighted and hyperbolic it’s reminiscent of parody sports news. These DEI hires don’t even watch the games or study the film. They just parrot what the popular perception says (who are just as flawed as themselves). GB is top 6-7 in this category. No question about it. We have 2-3 number ones and 2-3 number two’s on any given Sunday. We have depth. We have massive talent. We will have someone open almost every snap. If the OL does their job along with coaches and QB1, our entire WR/TE/RB rooms are collectively elite. Media assholes get clicks promoting so called stars. In GB, the entire sky is the limit, not just one or two divas. If those players don’t get them clicks, they shit on them. That’s their problem, not ours.
PFF is extremely overrated and I stopped considering anything they put out to be accurate years ago. PFF grades are a bad joke because they have no clue what the player's assignment is on any given play. Arbitrary number crunching with no context.
PFF is always full of shit
on skib
I think PFF is being kind to the GB WR room. GB doesn't have a single proven guy, and they're all injury prone. Not one 1000 yards wr. I think as a fan, you focus on the ceiling and ignore the floor. All of these guys will probably have minor injuries through out the season and miss games.
Romeo doubs is the most healthy wr in the room
@@bradyarmstorng4162 For real, he was the healthiest and he had a hamy strain in pre season and a chest injury in week 18 last year. I think Rome will be the #1 by the end of the season.
@@mrbilly9917 I still think Christian Watson is 1 wr if he is finally done with the hamstring injury that has plagued he since coming to the nfl
@bradyarmstorng4162 Well, the job is up in the air for sure, but Watson is always injured, doesn't catch the ball well. He's a great athlete, but average WR. Rome is a natural hands catcher with strong mitts. Personally, I think Reid will end up with more yards than Watson.
@@mrbilly9917 my second wr who I think will be 1 wr is dontayvion wick he will impress me that season with route running
