The Green Bay Packers Have An Embarrassment Of Riches At WR

- In this video, I take a deep dive into the Green Bay Packers WR room, which I think is the best group of young wide receivers in the NFL. The room features Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks, who are an incredibly talented bunch.

Who will lead the Packers in receiving in 2024?
Malik Heath. I'd bet my house on it.
bo melton is the best receiver in the league
@AtoZSportsFilmRoom @EverydayGBP Really.. The Packers don't even have a St. Brown, no one knows their role. They're just throwing shit against the wall hoping.. Laporta, Gibbs, St Brown and Monty..
@@howardmighty6764 This is a video about the Packers' WRs, and you come in here with TE, RB, WR, RB. Dismissed.
@@AtoZSportsFilmRoom A committee of rinky dink WR2 - 3s. Get outta here
They don't need a #1 receiver when they have a #1 receiver corps.
@@Trutoke lol you people are nucking futs
Finally, someone knows we have air receivers are #1 . Which makes it difficult to concentrate on one.were dangerous, with a group of such outstanding talent, there a group of hybrids . They can play any where. Thank you. That G don't stand for good but Greatness. Go Pack Go.
The receiivers are brothers, competitions is fearless, they push each other to preserve. Their not selfish, their special. That whole team is a special gift. Let's give Gutey his flowers, job well Done. Thank you for your observations. You don't pay attention to MMQB. Outstanding.your rational, objective, in your analysis.
Proud of you. Jordan Love brought back to Green Bay; He taught us how to Love again.!!

Bunch of very talented Wr's. Watson is the game breaker and a Superstar if he can avoid the hamstring issues. When he has played, he has been stellar since the midpoint of his Rookie season. It is injuries that have hampered him, nothing else. He also can be given the ball on sweeps, with the ability to score from anywhere on the Field. Reed is my #2 as far as game breaking ability goes. He also finds openings in Defenses when plays don't go as planned. He is Love's most valuable Wr. Period. All of the pundits are wrong about Reed's speed. He ran a 4.5 at his MSU Pro Day because of an injury. The Packers stated they timed him running in the high 4.2 range. That is flat out fast people. Don't sleep on Reed or listen to the BS.
Bo melton a good deep threat as well
Melton and Heath are 2 of the best receivers under the radar.
@@nico8587dthe streets won’t forget that Malik Heath outplayed the second round pick Jonathan Mingo at Ole Miss
@@strikerkiller77 He did.
And Kraft and Jacobs wants to do it all.
i feel like bo melton deserved a mention. he was a 7th rd pick by seattle in 2022 that they got off their practice squad. he had a really nice stretch to end the season when he finally got playing time
He said he was only doing top 4 spots.
@@GottaWannaDance i did not say he should rank 5 i said melton deserved a mention
I can’t wait to watch this Packers offense in 2024. The wide receiver depth, seeing Kraft and Musgrave on the field together more,& having multiple pass catching running backs in Jacobs,Lloyd,& Dillon.
IMO Doubs is one of the most underrated WR's in the league. I hope he stays a Packer through his career. He reminds me of a young Donald Driver with a ceiling so high people won't even notice when he launches
Thank you for highlighting Romeo allot of packers fans keep overlooking him because he’s not flashy
No they are not.
Bo Freaking Melton is unstoppable
Reed actually does have elite speed. He ran in the 4.4s at the combine, but he was fighting an infection at the time. He really runs a 4.37.
Wicks also runs a lot faster than his .40 time. He put up a 4.65 at the combine, but he had a hip injury. He really runs in the 4.45 range.
Doubs didn’t even run at the combine, but put up a 4.47 at his pro day.
Bo Melton ran a 4.34 at the combine and Watson ran a 4.36.
Watson originally ran a 4.28 before the NFL "adjusted" his time.
yeah wicks ran a 4.58 at his pro day and he was still recovering then too
Green Bay receiver core is crAzy 🧀 We don’t need a numba 1🧀 All are receivers run around, so that is going to make it hard for defenses to guard 💯 GREEN BAY Or Noway🧀
Why do you think other analysts like Reception Perception and PFF analytics not like Doubs? Like he was WR 114 in route win rate per PFF, but i do not see that at all on the film.
Why do you think that is?
Not to mention 2 of my favorite tight ends in the nfl. tucker kraft and luke musgrave. This packers offense can be nuclear
Offensive line is a bit worry-some but yeah this team can be scary on offense with loves ability to buy time
@@PRAY_4ME OL is also my biggest concern on offense but that says more about how deep the other positions are than anything negative about an OL that returns nearly the same as what worked last year. Rhyan was already rotating at RG and Morgan was added although I'm not certain he will even be a week 1 starter. The Packers have a track record of making it work on the OL so worrying about whether they are great or just okay feels like looking for something to get worried about but it also might be the biggest limiting factor on this offenses ceiling.
@@PRAY_4METhe worst position on the line last year was Center. Other than injuries, they didn’t have any issues on the line. But we did have players struggling with injuries and splitting time. Everyone is back so that helps continuity. They just need to upgrade center a bit. Losing Zach Tom in the 49ers game probably cost them a trip to the Super Bowl.
@@PRAY_4ME They had a top 5 oline last year and added a 1st round pick tackle. Oline is in good hands. Just need Zack Tom to come back healthy from the pec injury. Hes the lynchpin.
You forgot about Malik Heath #18
Loved all the great draft prospect breakdowns. Now fun to watch a breakdown of the Packers receivers. Keep up the good work love all the data.
I mean it’s Watson if he stays healthy, big IF, but clearly it’s him.
He's spending time at UW Sports Therapy. He's doing weller than last year.
( Weller lol)
Doubs gets slept on by a lot of packers talking heads, I’m a believer
You have my favorite roster breakdown content , we see these teams and players very similarly ( I started my own roster breakdown a few weeks ago and seeing how you “scored/graded” players was almost identical to my own so that was pretty cool to see anyways thanks for another great vid look forward to these
Christan Watson has the highest ceiling imo
Packers v Bears should be fun to watch again.

@@ryancasey8364 Watching football hasn't been fun for Bears fans for a loooong time.
Doubs is my favorite followed closely by Wicks but man they’re all so good. Reminds me of the Jennings, Jones, Nelson days.
Packers clocked Jayden Reed in the 4.3's at the combine. The kid can fly.
My order is Wicks, Reed, Doubs, Watson but they are all so good in their own way.
My thing is each of them are so good at different defensive looks if you play some reed and doubs will eat it up if you play man/blitz wicks,Watson and doubs will kill you. I believe the true wr1 of the team is doubs. And please don’t sleep on melton and hicks also they are good
Excellent breakdown and critique...
Great video 🎉
Great breakdown!
My super bowl prediction is the Chiefs versus the Packers
Super bowl 2025 Go Pack Go all we need is Love
I know you have done a couple seperate videos on them but the den edge grp was made for a position breakdown like this.
I hope DuBose gets some playing time. I believe he is a stud in the making.
can you do a Jordan Love break down like you did for CJ, interested to see your take on that
Even with the time he's missed he still leads the league in touch downs which at the end of the day is what matters.Scoring matters. If he is on the field he will literally smoke anyone in his draft .If he's leading in rhings like TDS with as much time as he's missed just imagine if fully healthy what he will do.This is the year he was never hurt in college so let's not act like this has been something that has occured throughout his football career cause it's not and remember many of the games he played he was still not 100 percent .So buckle up cause if this dude is healthy he will lead in most categories .Jayden Reed LITERALLY broke the Packers rookie record lol.Y'all forget Reed was a rookie and had did what he did with 10 TDS TOTAL.Look at the league what he's done already. These Kids Are going to take off now that he has experience
Perfect analysis of Watson
Ik Reed better be one of his top three, I haven't watch the video yet. I'm curious
The team receiving leader is the #1 receiver by definition
Great to hear perspective from a non-packer RUclips person.
It seemed like Love wasn't even looking his way unless it's a home run shot
Seems crazy to call the Packers the top young wr core in the nfl
Seems like hating to me
Who would you have ahead of them?
Not even close, and it's corps, not core.
@@AtoZSportsFilmRoomIt's really about how you define "young" but for me, personally (as a 9ers fan) it's Houston.
Collins and Dell were both devastating when healthy last year, maybe Diggs' age pulls them out of the "best/ youngest" conversation, but I'll still take those 2 ahead of GB's top 2-3 receivers.
@@robe2504If you look at the point production, they are one of the best as a whole. The fact any one of 5 different players can lead the team in catches on any given Sunday makes them more dangerous than having a true #1.
Cardinals vid would feed my family ❤😂
Aaron Rodgers in New York watching upset😂😂😂
Watson is the truth. The next randy moss clearly totally un gaurdable.
He not fourth he just can’t stay healthy
Wow. 15 minutes of Wicks…and then you wonder …what about 1! ??
I think the eagles now have a Simmilar riches at cb that could be a cool video with names like slay ringo rodgers ricks jobe and their 2 rookies
Missing Bo Melton

Tucker kraft is always open
P L E A S E Stop talking about # 1 receiver.When that happens.Play as a Team.Teams When Super Bowls.Not individuals
Appreciate you. I don't see the Nico-Doubs comp. Nico plays bigger, which is who Nico is. Doubs is good, not great at a lot of things and was trusted last year due to his tenure (1 year lol). I expect Wicks to be the eventual #1. Watson is also going to flash plenty as a big-play every game guy. Move the chains, Wicks. Wicks hype is real.
Watson…all he does is catch long bombs
who tf is the wr coach??? bc he need to go to the chiefs, if worthy becomes a bust im gonna throw myself out of a window
Andy Reid and Patrick get those guys open on scheme and playmaking alone u will be just fine with Hollywood this year
Jason Vrable. Don't know why he doesn't get more attention. He joined the Packers as an offensive assistant in 2019, promoted to WR coach in 2020, added passing game coordinator to his title in 2022 and this year they promoted an assistant to WR coach so Vrable carries just the passing game coordinator title although I'd expect him to still be heavily involved in the WR room with OC Adam Stenovich's background being in OL. Vrable seems to be getting the fast track treatment being groomed for an OC job
The person most responsible for the receiving corp is Brian Gutekunst.
@@BrianClaycomb Because most people don't understand coaching or play-calling & don't want to. I have several Long Versions of this. The shortest I can think of are the two Justins: Herbert & Fields. They both have losing records.
But despite no one blaming play-calling for either one's losses, Herbert is on everyone's top-5 QB list Because Of His Talent & Fields is a bust _because_ his teams don't win. Even that 3-game win streak in '22 where he led the entire NFL in offense despite having an o-line full of players that run away from blocks ruclips.net/video/FiiK21VzI_o/видео.html & a #1 WR who can't catch passes ruclips.net/video/glpaya0xz-4/видео.html that hit him in the hands, he did that & it was dismissed as a fluke.
But despite doing nothing the past 3 *years*_ with Mike Williams & Keenan Allen & _NOT_ leading the NFL in offense for Even _ONE_ Week, Herbert is just assumed to be better.
No one will _look at_ the coaching/play-calling.
Diversity, and complementary skills for sure, but they might be closer to league average than elite, and when the game is on the line the difference makers are called that for a reason.
+ Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
All the packers hype has completely went off the deep end and it's hilarious. They had a total of 3 good games last year. The cowboys game wasn't even one of them. That was the cowboys imploding not the packers exploding. In the last 40 years the packers have never done well when over hyped.
