Really nice. An intelligent and advanced form of drone, ideally suited to modal playing with a modal instrument like this. The Tanbour sounds a lot like my Saz. I like how you picked some of the less obvious notes for the synth, not just octaves and 5ths

Thanks for listening. Indeed, tanbour is similar to saz, but it has only two courses and not three. I would dearly love to learn saz...

A touch of reverb and eqully judicious compression would make what is an already impressive performance come together production-wise.

Thank you! I think what's really missing is a musty stone building in the desert to set up my recording equipment :)

M50s are *SO* much better with aftermarket EarPads! Wicked Cushions makes neoprene zipper-on HeadBand Wraps too! ( no I don't work for them :P I just *LOVE* M50s in spite of their shortcomings. )
I've been following you for a long time. Your Music is great! Nice to see you & also to hear you adding Acoustic Instruments. Good stuff! Thanks for sharing it with us & keep at it! :]

That one was hand stitched by my mother in law, after the original ear pads started flaking :)
