I was born in Milwaukee, but only lived there until I was 2 years old. I never knew Milwaukee had such glorious homes and buildings. It is an abomination that these beautiful homes were not kept up, valued and were allowed to go into disrepair due to neglect or greed. The buildings that were put up after these glorious homes were tragically destroyed were and still are ugly, cold and an abomination to the city's more beautiful past. All of those 'modern' reset replacement apartments and buildings look like they belong in the old East Germany occupied and ruled by the communists. I know, because I was there in the 1970's visiting relatives. The new buildings may be called progress by some, but it sure seem to me that modern styles are hidious and only lead to a decay of society. Very sad to see such beauty being torn down to be replaced with ugly.

@@trapmichaelmoore1105 Lots of convenient 'fires' throughout history as well. It's 2023 and thoughts of Paradise, CA and now Lahaina, Maui and so many others come to mind. Lots of 'great' fires all over the world...to build back better I guess...for the Great' reset.

No architectural blueprints or drawings on file anywhere of these architectural masterpieces.
All built in just a couple years with donkeys and handtools.
      Vanilla Skies.

Were there homes in Juneau Park before that were torn down or moved?
