So with the audio would it be getting picked up from the camera or would you need to buy a mic separately if so how would you go into inputting a microphone in this setup?

Yes, the Sony Action Cam has a built-in mic which is pretty good but the camera also has an audio input jack for connecting external microphones. The Rode and DJI wireless mics are popular choices for this. A wireless receiver can be easily mounted on the back of the camera thanks to the CamSaver accessory which features a cold shoe mount.

Can’t connect to web based WiFi?

The backpack has WiFi built-in so can connect to most networks except ones with a captive portal that you sometimes find at hotels. A lot of streamers also connect to their phone hotspot using WiFi.
