Just finished the Blend-if course. I have most of Blake’s courses. This is one of the best and most useful workflow techniques yet, and can be used in an amazing number of ways.
Blend-If can do almost everything. Your panel makes it easier to understand and play with. Instead of dropdown boxes and weird sliders that are hard to grasp, it's all in one place, visual and easy to try different things. The course that goes with it teaches how to put it through its paces and opened my thinking on the whole topic! Thanks Blake!
Cool tutorial! I started laughing when you mentioned double exposures on film. Ah, the old days, hold the camera's rewind button, wind and cock the shutter taking your second image.
Am slowly getting my head around this Blend-If stuff and it's beginning to make sense. Maybe I'm just a slow learner but I'll stick with it, the results are too good to ignore.

Hi Blake. In your video you mention using a Wacom tablet. Are you no longer using your XP StarG640 tablet? If not, I'd be interested in which tablet you're now using. Also, I am now starting to understand Blend If much more. Thanks for your videos. Paul
Nope, I still use my XP Pen Star G640, but most people would be like "WHAT the heck did he just say?" So yeah, there's that. I am still using that tablet. I would never swap it out. Unlike Wacom, it ACTUALLY works when I need it to ;)
Being an F64 academy member, I got this panel and course for free. so at the current price, that equates to 2 or 3 months free membership. How's that for value?? I highly reccomend F64 membership folks, the value for money proposition represented by this membership/learning opportunity is uniquely valuable Every month I learn something new from Blake and this 'blend if' panel is probably the best thing yet offered from F64. (I mean other than the ZSE, PE, My Panel, IR course and panel, colour education, gradient, brushes, Cloud brushes! Dodge and burn panel and education, ACR profiles, Game of Tones, etc. Really, it is all great and well worth the investment)

@@f64Academy I mean every word Blake. You constantly amaze me with the things you come up with and the depth and quality of the education that goes with it. Whodathunk the linear light blend mode could be so useful, for example. My biggest problem is that I now have so many tools and techniques, I sometimes confuzzle myself as to which one to use, and I constantly have to go back to refresh my memory on something I learned from you 5,6,7 years ago... getting older means less brain power 😉
Thanks for your Double Exposures Blend instructions. . After some intense attempts to use your editing techniques, I realized this video must be strictly for Mac PhotoShop users. As you may know that frequently happens with RUclips instructional guides. A disclaimer would be helpful. I can still recognize how parts of your instruction could be helpful to both Mac and Window users.
Thanks for your immediate and helpful response. I am seeing none of the color palette in the right center that you are showing in your video. Maybe you are using Win11 while I am still using Win10? Any rate, your video has opened a completely new approach to editing of my photos. Much appreciated.

It was a struggle, lol. Darkroom was easier with two negatives.
