1:50 Kook didn't duck dive deep enough and barrel rider ran him over. Surfing has turned into kookville with over 40 guys out at a wave that is 15 seconds long. I surfed Nias in 81-82 by myself, for several months. Imagine traveling long distances to walk up to this mess. Imagine being the barrel rider and getting injured in Indo and enjoying their medical care. U kooks can have that shitshow.

Right! ... I mean where do we go to find uncrowded surf these days? Even Baja is a struggle these days. Those 3 months solo here must have been "dreamy" in the proper context.

Some surfers are so lame -- in this case two in a row! Why not just paddle 5 feet to the right, duck dive the whitewash, and stay out of the surfer's way? As the paddler, you have so many options, but the surfer is locked in the barrel with only one option.
