    Thank you so much. I have been struggling for the past 3 years trying to get my boat seats clean. I have watched and tried countless videos that haven't worked. Decided to try these products and can not believe the results.
    I used to spend over 3 hours cleaning with lots of scrubbing and manual labor. With this method, I was done in about an hour with seats that are clean as brand new. Now, just to wait a few months to see if the prevention part holds true.
    I'm no longer embarrassed to bring guests aboard my boat. ❤

    I did this to my boat over the weekend. What an amazing result - your video of just letting it sit was key. I used a pump sprayer for the mold remover, used the mister on the mold preventer. Thank you Top Dock!

    Great video on mildew/mold removal. After 10 weeks under repair, I followed a similar process and the results are night and day. Due to product availability, I didn't always use exactly the same products but I did use the same type of products. Now I just need to figure out a good way to restore the exterior shine (the first attempt didn't work)!

    • @topdockpro
      @topdockpro  Год назад

      Once the protective layer of the vinyl comes off typically due to high uv overtime the seats won’t shine up like they used to. Even the best products won’t do much. You could try to soak them, otherwise it may be irreversible

    This mold remover is the best thing ever! I have had my boat for 4 years and when I bought it, there was already mold, today I’m cleaning my boat to put it for sale and used this stuff and then sprayed another seat and then turned and looked at the first seat and I was shocked! It was almost all gone within like 30 seconds! I let it sit for another minute and it was amazing! After two applications on the worst seat it was perfect! All mold gone! I had bought the small bottle and had a tiny bit left after doing my entire pontoon boat.
    This is bleach based as you can smell the bleach when spraying…you might could just dilute bleach and it might be the same thing…not sure…
    My carpet was perfectly fine with the solution having bleach…
    After cleaning the mold I washed with soap and water and then used Babes Seat Conditioner.
    Before using this I’ve tried kitchen cleaner, tough stuff, soap…nothing worked.

    All those side panels easily detach from the boat. Pull them out. Put them on a portable table and go to work. We wet them and stack wet side to wet side while it’s dwelling. Pump sprayer will also speed your process. Pressure wash the seams. Magic Eraser on stubborn spots and the stains behind the cushions you removed.

    Does the Starks hurt the stitching?

  • @danielhenderson6554
    @danielhenderson6554 Год назад +2

    Question? With bleach being the active ingredient, what is the possibility of the stitching's being damaged or dissolving over time once this product has been used? Thank you

    • @topdockpro
      @topdockpro  Год назад +1

      Yes that’s a great point to bring up. The stitching will dry out when you use bleach on your vinyl. It’s important to follow up that process with a vinyl protectant to restore the oils back into the vinyl and stitching

    • @lindaclarke7979

    So with it having bleech in it does it hurt the seams?? Does it change the color of the stiching and make them fall apart? I used marine 31 today on a seat and it made it look new but messed with the stitching!😊

    • @topdockpro
      @topdockpro  6 месяцев назад

      Yes it could hurt the seams depending on the thread being used. That’s why you’re not suppose to do it often. However, it should NOT change the color of the seam. Typically the sun is much more damaging than the mildew remover

  • @scotlovejoy8502
    @scotlovejoy8502 4 месяца назад +1

    And what does it do to your seat stitching? Every boat detailer says don't use bleach on your stitching as it will destroy it. Sodium Hypochlorite is really bleach, no? So it may work, but something tells me your seats will pay for it over the long run by...falling apart.

    • @topdockpro

      Don’t take my word for it but I would imagine it would be fine. If the carpet is removable take it out prior to removing the mold & mildew. From my experience with the product it’s safe and works for the user.
